Welcome beautiful soul to this grounding meditation.
My name is Kim Rua and I'm excited to take you on this brief grounding journey.
This is a perfect meditation if you feel a little unbalanced,
Ungrounded,
Just a lot going on and you wish to come back to your center,
To your power.
So you can do this meditation as often as you like,
Whenever you wish,
During your day or evening.
So please enjoy and let's dive in.
I invite you to get comfortable,
Whether that's in a seated,
Laying down or even a standing position.
Just really doing what you need to get as comfortable as possible for the next 5-10 minutes.
Once you've found that position,
Let's start with a couple of deep breaths,
Breathing in and filling the belly,
Filling the lungs and letting go on the out-breath,
Repeating that twice more.
And one final time,
Your biggest breath of the day,
Sighing it out and then slowly returning to a gentle breath that serves your body.
If you haven't yet closed your eyes,
I invite you to do so now or to lower or soften your gaze,
To go inwards.
We'll start by tuning into the body and then we'll invite the tree spirits to help us ground.
Let's start by sensing the limits of our body.
There where our body touches the air,
Where our body touches the clothes on our body,
Where your hair perhaps touches your skin,
But really that outer layer of our body.
Just sensing if you can feel the subtlety of the warm or cold air.
I'm just noticing where your consciousness ends and where the universe continues.
Now bringing your attention to your feet,
To your toes one by one,
From your big toe to your little toe and just noticing how each toe is doing.
How do your toes feel?
And slowly moving to the ball of your foot,
To the sole,
To every little bone in your foot,
The top of your foot,
All the way to the ankle,
Your heel,
And wiggling your body whenever you need to.
Sometimes a little shake or a little squeeze can really support the body.
Now moving from the ankle to our knee,
Noticing every muscle,
Every bone,
Every vein.
And with this loving attention we bring relaxation,
Healing,
And lots of light to the body,
Which it's very happy to receive.
From the knees we move all the way up through the thighs,
Through the outer upper leg,
To the pelvis,
To the hip bones,
Noticing what's happening there,
To your belly,
All the way up through your spine,
Into your other organs,
Your kidneys,
Your pancreas,
Your liver,
And so forth.
Up into the lungs and the heart space,
And breathing all that love into your body,
Into the chest,
The shoulders,
Down through the arms,
To the elbows,
Your wrists,
The palms of your hands,
To the tips of your fingers,
And bringing more relaxation with every breath.
Now let's move to the throats,
Clearing our voice,
Our vocal cords,
Up into the jaws,
The teeth,
Into our entire face,
Our entire head,
Our ears,
Our eyes,
Our third eye,
And bringing that softness.
Thank you body for doing everything you do every day without having to remind you.
Thank you,
Thank you.
Now for a moment,
Bring your attention back to the bottom of your spine,
To your tailbone,
And we're inviting the spirits of the trees,
Imagining that we're connected to them.
Perhaps you find yourself in your imagination,
Standing or sitting next to a big tree,
And from the tip of your tailbone,
You imagine a big beautiful root starting to grow down through your chair,
Your bed,
Your mat,
Into the floor beneath you,
Or the soil beneath you,
And it grows down deep,
Deep,
Deep into the soil,
Into Mother Earth,
Where it immediately grows out into a whole system of roots,
Connecting with all the trees,
All the plants,
Around where you are right now,
Into the mycelium,
Into the consciousness of this whole plant system that runs through the soil.
Your roots grow deeper and deeper and anchor you in.
Sit with that for a moment.
Feel how those roots are deeply grounded into the earth.
Perhaps taking another deep breath,
And sinking into that feeling,
That feeling of being held by the earth.
She is there for us,
24 hours a day,
And she's yearning for us,
Her children,
To connect with her,
To give our sorrows,
Our problems,
Our grief to her,
So she can compost it and give it to all the trees,
The flowers,
The plants,
The animals.
So if there's anything that comes to heart that you wish to let go,
Allow it to just flow out through your body into those roots,
Into the bosom,
The womb of Mother Earth.
The tree consciousness comes up from the bottom of our spine and grows tall through our spine,
Through our arms,
Through our head.
And like big,
Beautiful branches,
This tree grows right out into the cosmos.
Etheric or energetic branches and leaves reaching up into the sky,
Replenishing your body with energy from the sun,
The moon,
The stars,
From the cosmos.
And so we receive both the healing,
Embracing energy of the earth,
And welcome the cosmic energy of purpose,
Of our divinity.
Beautiful reminders of what we come to do here,
As not just a human being,
But an actual incarnated soul.
Breathing that beautiful energy in.
And sitting in silence for just a few seconds,
Allowing this all to absorb into your being.
Noticing if perhaps you feel more calm and relaxed.
It's totally normal if emotions come up,
So give yourself a moment to allow any emotions to come through.
The trees give their gratitude for tuning into their energy,
Into their spirits.
And this grounding sensation,
This grounding element will stay with you as long as you need it.
Now coming back slowly to your body,
To the space you're in.
Perhaps touching your legs,
Caressing your body as a symbol of safety and gratitude.
Breathing deeply,
Just a couple more times.
And at your own pace,
Coming back into your space.
Thank you so much for listening.
Come back to this meditation wherever and whenever you need it.
And I wish you a beautiful continuation of your day or evening.
Blessings,
So much love.
Bye.
Namaste.
