
10 Minutes To Happiness!

And so today,
I'm super excited.
This is I'm going to be I'm going to talk about truly one of my favorite subjects ever.
Happiness,
Right?
So I call myself a happy medium.
Okay.
Actually my husband sort of named that to me when I was doing a radio show years and years ago.
My husband was like,
Happy medium,
Why don't you call yourself a happy medium?
I was like,
Oh my gosh,
Because I'm like pretty generally always happy.
So I thought that was cool.
But here's the question.
I am generally a happy person.
Yes.
But how?
People ask me all the time,
How and why are you a happy person?
Why is your vibration feel so high?
Right?
Well,
The reality is,
My friends is that I work at it.
I work at being happy.
Yeah,
You have to right.
Here's the thing.
So what we're going to talk about today is the daily habit of creating happy,
Right?
And here's what we can do.
Right?
The reality is this.
You have to want to change to be happy,
Right?
There's so many people out there that are like,
Yeah,
I want to be happy,
You know,
But they're really kind of stuck in their own way of thinking and they think to themselves.
Yeah.
Okay.
I want to be happy.
Bring it on.
But the thing is,
Is that do you really want it or is it just like a,
Well,
I think I'm supposed to be happy.
So you know,
That sort of thing,
Right?
So that's the bottom line.
Do you want to be happy?
That's one.
That's to me a really important question.
And if you're honest with yourself,
You will be able to answer that question.
Right?
Now,
The art of being happy is practice,
Right?
You can't,
You can't,
You know,
If you've never run before,
You can't run a marathon after two days.
It's just,
You just can't.
Right?
So the practice of figuring out how to be happy is an ongoing thing.
Okay.
So today I'm going to talk about 10 minutes a day,
How you can start to change things in your life to create and that happiness from within.
Right.
Okay.
So how do we do that?
You guys know what I'm going to say,
Right?
So it's all about gratitude.
You know that it's all about gratitude,
Right?
There's something that happens in your brain and I am not a scientist at all,
But there's something that happens in your brain when you start to consider all the things in your life that are good.
It's just true.
Right?
So this is what we do.
You spend five minutes right when you wake up in the morning of thinking about all the things that are so awesome in your life.
And then guess what you do?
You spend five minutes at the end of your day,
Right before you go to sleep,
So that it's kind of percolating in your brain as you're sleeping.
Right?
Think about all those things again that are so great in your life,
The things that went great.
We don't want to focus on the things that went wrong,
Right?
But we focus on the things that went good today.
It's as simple as that,
But yet you have to keep doing it.
I mean,
There are tons of other things that you can do to spark that happiness in your life and create the happy.
We have choices always.
As a matter of fact,
Just this morning I saw a thing that David G.
Even said.
He said,
Happy or sad,
The choice is yours.
And that's true.
And it sounds so simplistic,
But yet we do have a choice.
When really crappy things happen,
We have choices as to how we look at it.
I have a friend yesterday who was having a bad day.
All these different things like business wise and relationship wise,
All these things were happening to her.
So I said,
Okay,
Give me four or five things that you're grateful for right now.
And when you do that,
Things begin to shift.
It just does.
But you have to keep doing it.
You can't just stop.
You can't just say,
Okay,
Well,
I did it once and I'm not happy.
You have to want it.
So that's what we're meditating on today.
Are you surprised?
No,
Of course not.
So this is just one of the many things actually that you can do to shift your consciousness,
Shift your vibration,
And create a different way of being in your life.
So let's get ourselves comfortable because we are going to meditate as always.
So close your eyes,
Get comfortable.
Very good.
Now let's take a really long,
Deep breath in and release it.
Those long,
Deep breaths in are critical to creating happy and creating peace in your life.
So let's do that one more time.
So let's take a long,

Deep breath in and release it.
Perfect.
So our mantra for today,
And I want you to think about this every single time that you say it to yourself.
Thank you.
It's not just saying thank you to yourself.
It's not saying just saying thank you to the universe.
It's not just saying thank you to your friends and family.
It's all the above.

So as we continue on,
If you lose the mantra,
You can always come back and focus on your breath.
And I will monitor the time and let's begin.

Let's start bringing our awareness back to our bodies and the room we're sitting in and share.
Say thank you to the universe one last time for now.
Let's take one last really deep breath in really slow.
And release it.
And you can open your eyes whenever it feels right for you.
I don't know about you but as I was meditating and saying thank you,
I noticed that my smile was getting bigger and bigger on my face.
Because when you start just concentrating on thanking people,
Thanking the universe,
That changes everything.
It makes you realize that there's other things in the world than just you.
That's so beautiful.
So beautiful.
So I invite you to take this on for today and tomorrow and the next five minutes of gratitude in the morning,
Five minutes of gratitude at night.
And watch your life change.
Watch your feel your vibration rise.
