Journaling is one of THE most important things you can do on your manifesting journey. Why? Let’s discuss how to make it right for you! My dear friend, Pierre Bensusan, has permitted me to use his track called ‘Sentimentales Pyromaniaques’ from the album 'Altiplanos'. “Deep Into Nature” composed by Music Of Wisdom - Licensed from meditationmusiclibrary

Welcome to In the Flow with Lori Albert,

A brief,

Positivity-inspiring chat and meditation designed to uplift and motivate us to live our best lives.

Let's get in the flow.

So,

Who here journals?

Is anybody?

I know,

Okay,

So I'm a little bit on the upper side of middle-aged.

Let's say it that way.

Right?

And I got to be honest,

I never,

Okay,

So when I was a kid,

I would get the journal and it was this cute little book.

Right?

It's this cute little thing with pages and I would write about how much,

You know,

My mother irritated me or whatever,

Right?

And I would do that for a couple days and I didn't like that because I didn't like to vent,

Like be negative.

Do you know what I mean?

Like,

And well,

I didn't realize it at the time,

But like I realize it now that it bothered me to sit and talk about,

Oh,

I hate this and this person really is.

I hated that.

Right?

So I stopped doing it.

And I have to say that over the years I've dabbled in it.

Right?

However,

These last several years,

I've taken a new perspective to it.

Right?

To journaling,

The process of journaling.

Right?

And I realized how much power there actually is in the whole idea of journaling.

Specifically then for manifesting.

And that's what I want to talk about today because when we take a different perspective over pretty much anything actually,

If you take a different perspective over stuff like that,

It can be life changing.

Truly,

Truly.

Right?

So a couple of things that I believe that journaling is important for us.

Okay.

And I wanted to go over this.

Okay.

First of all,

Journaling is important for gratitude.

The idea of writing down the act of writing down what you are grateful for.

It's great to say it out loud.

It's fantastic to say what you're grateful for out loud.

Okay.

However,

When you write it down and it's sort of in its intangible sort of form.

Right?

So you're sitting there and you're looking at what you wrote.

There's something to be said for that.

Right?

So then the next thing.

Okay.

So we take that to then to another sort of level is.

And this is in terms of journaling for manifestation.

However,

It can be for like everything.

Right?

I switched how I think things around.

Right?

How I because remember a minute ago I was saying about how,

You know,

I would complain about my mother.

I would complain about this,

Complain about that,

Whatever.

Right?

But guess what?

I took that complain thing out of it and turned it into a way to script and visualize our future.

And that's where it comes in in terms of manifestation.

That's where it becomes important.

Right?

So when you visualize,

You visualize in your brain all these really cool things that can happen to you.

Right?

Or you just,

I mean,

Cause it's literally pie in the sky.

Right?

So it's pie in the sky.

You can visualize whatever you want,

But when you write it down,

It kind of takes it up a notch because again,

You're looking at it on a page.

You're looking at it on a page and you see it,

You see it in written down form and your visualization is one step closer to becoming your reality.

Ooh,

That gives me chills.

Honestly.

I mean that seriously gives me chills because it's so true and it's been true for me personally.

That's why I could really kind of talk about it.

Right?

Um,

Also too,

Another little important point is that when you,

You know,

You start,

You start filling out your journal and scripting what you want in your life and you talk about all the things you're grateful for in however many years,

Even next week,

You could turn back to that page and say to yourself,

Wow,

I forgot about that.

Right?

And you get to the point where you can just look back and go,

Oh my God,

I totally,

Totally forgot about that.

And you can read that and feel that feeling again when you're having a down day.

Now,

I've talked about this before in terms of gratitude.

It's great that we have a place where we talk about what we're grateful for and that is great and it keeps it high vibrational.

However,

It's most important when you're having a bad day to go towards the gratitude or,

You know,

And to write down what you're grateful for or to sit and script and visualize your,

Your life the way you want it to be.

So,

When you're having a not so great day,

That's the most important time to do it.

And then the reason why,

Like I was just saying,

A reason why journaling is so important is on those bad days,

You go back and you look and you can see what you're grateful for.

You can see,

You can see what you wanted to script for that day.

And here's the thing,

You can script,

You can visualize big,

Huge things,

Or you can visualize the rest of the day.

It doesn't have to be like,

There are no parameters,

You know,

This is why I love journaling,

Right?

Because there are no parameters,

You can,

It can be however you choose for it to be.

And what I would suggest to do is,

Is to take that time and consider when you're having a bad day,

I'm talking about,

Take that time and sit and consider a couple of things that you're grateful for.

And then what you want to script for that day,

Make it small.

If you're having a bad day,

Make it small,

But still do it.

Still,

Still do it.

Absolutely.

You go back and you reread the stuff from years ago,

From last week,

When you felt great,

And that will help you to raise your vibration yet again.

So,

How awesome is that?

So that's why I'm like really into,

And that's why the book is a journal because the importance of journaling is over the top.

I shouldn't say the importance of journaling,

I should say the significance of journaling.

It's amazing.

So we're going to meditate on this though.

Yes,

We are.

Okay.

And I want you to understand the reasoning for when you're having a great day or when you're having a not great day of manifesting the importance.

That's the entire thing that I want to talk about today that I want you to understand.

Because,

When you surrender to the process of allowing your mind to create your life,

It will.

Your life will be different in terms of that.

You can create whatever you want.

I've created so much.

I manifested so much.

I created a book.

I created a car.

Like seriously,

Those are like big things.

And wait till you see what I'm creating next.

I'm not going to talk about it just yet.

You know,

There are new things.

You can,

Like it's pie in the sky.

Why not dream big?

Why not?

We are possibility.

So,

All right,

Now,

We're going to meditate on this.

We're going to meditate on the joy of it all.

Right?

Okay,

So let's close our eyes and sit very comfortably,

However that looks for you.

Close your eyes.

Let's take a really slow,

Deep breath in,

Feeling all of that energy of gratitude and that energy of Mercury being retrograde.

Breathe that in because we're making it positive.

And release.

Awesome.

Awesome.

Awesome.

Mercury being retrograde.

A lot of people get weirded out about it.

Not us.

We are grateful for the idea of positive and negative.

We are patient.

We are persistent.

And we are positive.

So,

Our mantra for the day.

Our mantra for the day,

We're going to sit in the stillness for just a few minutes.

Our mantra is,

I am possibility.

Chills.

I am possibility.

I am possibility.

So let's sit in the stillness for a few minutes.

I will keep the time.

And let's begin.

I will keep the time.

I will keep the time.

I will keep the time.

I will keep the time.

Let's take a nice deep breath in,

Very slow through your nose.

Breathing in gratitude and possibility and release.

Very good.

For the rest of the day,

I invite you to take with you the affirmation,

I am possibility.

Namaste.
