Welcome.

This meditation is here to help you wake up with joy and energy.

It will help you feel lighter,

More present,

And ready to move through your day with clarity and calm.

Whether you're still lying down or sitting upright,

This is your time.

A time to pause,

To connect,

To begin not by rushing but by softening.

Let's start together gently with breath.

Close your eyes or soften your gaze and let your hands rest where they feel most at ease.

Maybe that's your heart,

On your belly,

Or in your lap.

Now take a deep breath in through your nose.

Feel your lungs expand and feel your ribs widen.

Now exhale through your mouth with a soft sigh.

Let it all go.

Inhale again,

Fresh new energy.

Exhale,

Releasing anything heavy from the night.

Inhale,

Waking up from the inside out,

And exhale,

Settling into this new beginning.

One more slow,

Steady breath in,

And a full breath out.

Now let your breath return to its natural rhythm and allow the breath to carry you,

Effortless and soft.

Bring your awareness to the crown of your head.

Notice what you notice.

Maybe there's tangling,

Warmth,

Or maybe stillness.

Now slowly scan downward from your forehead to your eyes,

To your jaw.

Relax any tension you find.

Let your shoulders melt away from your ears and feel the rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.

Wiggle your fingers.

Notice how alive you are.

Feel the support beneath you,

The seat,

Your bed,

Or the air.

Imagine a soft,

Golden light above you.

It begins to pour gently over you,

Like sunlight through a window,

Warm and kind.

This light touches your skin.

You feel it on your cheeks,

Your hands,

And your heart.

Let this light remind you,

I begin my day connected with warmth and clarity.

Breathe that in.

I invite you to picture yourself moving through the morning with calm and purpose.

See yourself brushing your teeth,

Stretching,

Pouring your tea or coffee,

All with the presence that feels new and alive.

Visualize a simple task,

A meal,

A walk,

A conversation,

And imagine yourself doing it with ease.

Notice the light in that moment.

Notice how it feels to see clearly,

Not with just your eyes,

But with your inner attention.

Affirm to yourself,

Today I notice the light in my surroundings and in myself.

Let this mantra echo softly in your mind.

Repeat it silently,

Or whisper it out loud.

Now take one hand and place it on your heart.

Feel the warmth of your palm and the rhythm of your heartbeat.

This is your anchor,

Your truth.

Feel your breath once more.

Feel your body alive,

Awake,

And steady.

Gently stretch your arms overhead.

Maybe take a soft yawn or roll your shoulders.

Now bring your awareness back to the space around you.

And as you're ready,

Gently float your eyes open.

Look around.

Notice the light in your room.

Notice how it plays on the colors,

The textures.

Take one more breath in,

Bright and open,

And exhale,

Ready and rooted.

I carry joy and energy within me,

And I choose to see clearly today.

Breathe that in.

Let it soak into every cell in your body.

And before you move into your day,

Take a quiet moment to reflect.

What is one thing I want to truly see today,

Within me or around me?

Let this question linger in your heart.

Return to it when you need clarity or direction.

And if you'd like to go deeper,

I invite you to free write or journal your thoughts that come up around this question.

Here's to beginning with presence and noticing the light in all you do.
