We are bigger than our beliefs.
Welcome to this guided meditation.
In this meditation,
We will focus on recognizing and overcoming the limiting beliefs that may be holding us back from reaching our full potential and living our best life.
By the end of this meditation,
We hope to have a deeper understanding of our beliefs and feel empowered to rise above them,
Embracing a more fulfilling and authentic life.
To begin,
Find a comfortable seated position,
Whether it's on a chair or on the floor or you're sleeping flat on your back.
Allow your spine to be long and straight yet relaxed.
Now gently close your eyes and take a few deep breaths,
Inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
As you settle into your breath,
Let go of any tension in your body,
Starting from the top of your head and working your way down to your toes.
With each exhale,
Release any stress,
Worry or negativity that may be lingering within you.
Bring your attention now to the concept of beliefs.
We all carry with us a set of beliefs about ourselves,
Others and the world around us.
Some of these beliefs serve as well,
While others can limit our growth and happiness.
Today we will work on identifying and releasing those limiting beliefs that no longer serve us.
Take a moment to think about an area in your life where you feel held back,
Stuck or unfulfilled.
This could be in your relationships,
Career,
Health or personal growth.
So as you focus on this area,
Ask yourself,
What beliefs might be holding me back from achieving my goals and dreams in this aspect of my life?
And as you do that,
Allow any limiting beliefs to surface without judgment.
Simply observe them and acknowledge their presence.
You may notice thoughts such as,
I am not good enough,
I don't deserve success or I can't change.
These beliefs may have been ingrained in your mind for many years but remember,
These are not your beliefs.
You are much bigger and more powerful than any limiting thought.
And now that you have identified a limiting belief,
Let's work on challenging it.
Ask yourself if there is any evidence to support this belief.
Are there examples from your past or present that prove this belief to be true?
Or is it simply a fear-based thought that has been holding you back?
In most cases,
You will find that your limiting belief is not based on solid evidence but rather on fear,
Doubt or insecurity.
Recognize that this belief is not serving you and make a conscious decision to let it go.
To help you release this limiting belief,
Imagine a beautiful bright light surrounding your entire body.
This light represents your inner strength,
Wisdom and resilience.
As you breathe deeply,
Visualize this light dissolving the limiting belief and replacing it with a new empowering belief that supports your growth and happiness.
Repeat to yourself either silently or out loud an affirmation that counters your limiting belief.
If your limiting belief was,
I am not good enough,
Your affirmation could be,
I am worthy and deserving of success and happiness.
And as you do this,
Feel the power and truth behind these words as they take root within you.
Continue to breathe deeply and repeat your affirmation several times,
Allowing its energy to permeate every cell of your being.
And as you do this,
Feel the weight of your old limiting belief lifted off your shoulders and replaced by the newfound strength and confidence of your empowering belief.
As you embrace this new belief,
Visualize yourself taking action towards your goals and dreams,
Free from the constraints of your old limiting thoughts.
See yourself succeeding,
Growing and thriving in the area of your life where you previously felt held back.
Take a few more deep breaths,
Feeling the transformation within you as you rise above your limiting beliefs and step into your true potential.
Remember that you are always bigger and more powerful than any belief and you have the ability to change your thoughts and change your life.
When you feel ready,
Gently bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and slowly open your eyes.
Take a moment to appreciate the work you have done today,
Knowing that you are now equipped with the tools to overcome limiting beliefs and live a more authentic,
Fulfilling life.
And as you move forward,
Remember to continually challenge and replace any limiting beliefs that arise.
Embrace the truth that you are bigger than your beliefs.
And you have the power to achieve your wildest dreams.
