Welcome to the Fearless Beginnings Morning Meditation Practice.

This practice is designed to centre you in your heart with courage to meet the day ahead of you.

We begin by finding a comfortable meditation position with spine straight,

Eyes closed or gaze facing downwards if this is more comfortable,

Breathing in and out of the nose,

Noticing the breath without trying to change it,

Perhaps noticing as the breath deepens the rise and fall of the chest and the belly,

The body softening into meditation,

The mind stilling,

And bringing the focus to the heart space,

The centre of the chest,

The breastbone,

Imagining your breath is entering at this space.

Can you expand on this visualisation so that the heart is taking in the breath from 360 degrees,

All focusing here on this magnificent centre,

The seat of your soul,

The centre of your being,

Bringing in energy on your breath,

Prana,

Life force,

Straight to the heart,

And allowing this heart space to expand,

Feeling safe at the heart space,

Allowing yourself to feel love,

Beauty,

Forgiveness,

Worthiness,

Acknowledging these qualities at the level of the heart,

Allowing the breath to enhance these qualities to fuel your fearless beginning to the day.

If you struggle to know what love feels like,

Bring in or imagine something beautiful,

And feel that quality of beauty,

It has a very similar energetic frequency to love,

And what really opens the heart is gratitude,

So if in your present situation you can think of something to be grateful for and truly feel that,

You'll start to feel love.

Just notice if thoughts are popping in,

Let them float past,

So that you can make time for this practice to set up your day,

And use that voice in your mind to repeat after me,

I cultivate deep courage and compassion in my life,

My heart is grateful and my mind is at peace,

I am worthy of love,

I know I can create miracles in my life and I now choose to do so,

I am aware my breath is a calm centering tool for my body and mind at any time,

Feeling the body at peace,

Feeling the heart centre expanding,

Perhaps reaching out to the others listening to this same meditation,

Offering love and gratitude to those around you,

Consciously offering this energy of the heart centre to those around you that need it,

Sending this love to your home,

To your workplace,

To your friends,

Gently offering,

Having the courage and compassion to offer,

Knowing that this heart energy has a limitless source,

And that your consciousness is able to direct this flow of loving,

Compassionate,

Courageous energy,

Focusing this fearlessly loving energy for your day ahead,

And sharing it with those in need and those closest to you,

Allowing this sharing to bring a smile to your face,

A feeling of joy in your heart,

And a deep feeling of courage,

Fearlessness and compassion,

As you take a deep breath in and out through the nose,

As we come towards the end of this practice,

Again offering gratitude and love,

And positive intentions for a wonderful day ahead,

Gently coming back to the room,

Opening the eyes,

Feeling refreshed and prepared to meet the day.
