Allow your eyes to comfortably close and come down into your breath,

Into your body.

Letting the support beneath you take your weight.

Allow yourself to soften into this support.

Sense down to the steady ground below.

And allow what your body is holding to release.

Let it flow out and away.

Let the same happen with your mind.

Allow what your mind is holding to release.

Let it flow out and away.

And release what yourself is holding.

Any feelings,

Concerns,

Self-judgment,

Self-doubt.

Let it all flow out and away.

Allow yourself to settle into the present moment.

Open your senses and awareness to the present.

Feel the air touching your face and body.

Sense the space around you with its light and shade.

And sounds.

Let them be there.

Sense out to the larger space outside.

To the horizon stretching all around you.

And up to the sky high above you.

Let it be there.

Become aware of the ebb and flow of your breath.

As it enters and leaves you.

Let it be there.

Let it slow and deepen in its own time.

Notice feelings or sensations as they arise.

Let them be there.

Let them soften and release in their own time.

Sense the sky above you and the ground below you.

Supported by ground.

Breathing with sky.

Give all of you permission to rest.

Rest in this moment here.

As you rest.

Thank your mind for all the hard work it's done.

Appreciate it for having done its best.

Thank your body for all the hard work it's done.

Appreciate it for having done its best.

Thank yourself for all the hard work it's done.

Appreciate it for having done its best.

And allow softness in to every level of your being.

Let softness bathe you.

And flow through you from head to toe.

Let softness spread into the space around you.

Let softness surround you.

Breathe softness into your core.

And in your own time,

Allow gentleness in to every level of your being.

Let gentleness bathe you.

And flow through you from head to toe.

Let gentleness spread into the space around you.

Let gentleness surround you.

Breathe gentleness into your core.

Allow yourself to be held in softness and gentleness in the present moment for a while.

As you do so,

Sense the present moment at your side,

Here with you now.

Holding you in softness and gentleness.

The present moment just is.

It understands you completely and accepts you exactly as you are right now.

By your side,

A companion waiting for you to connect with it.

Just the other side of your awareness.

Always there.

The present moment is constant on your journey through time.

A rich resource.

Its treasure revealed through consciousness.

Surrounded by softness and gentleness.

Lean back into the support of the present moment.

And allow yourself just to be for a while.

Let gentleness spread into the space around you.

In your own time.

Feel the support beneath your body.

Become aware of the space around you.

Sense the present moment with you now.

Appreciate its support.

You can connect with it whenever you want.

Breathe the present moment in on your breath.

Breathe it out on your breath.

And when you are ready.
