Welcome to another guided meditation.
I'm so grateful that you're here,
That you pressed play,
That you are commanding your body to stay stationary for just a little bit to get centered and calm and to give back to your soul,
To your spirit.
So let's get started.
You can do this meditation sitting cross-legged with your hands resting on your knees,
Palms facing the ceiling,
Or you can lay flat on your back on a yoga mat or even in bed.
The point here is to be completely relaxed but also alert,
Completely connected to every sensation in your body,
Aware of every thought that crosses your mind without attaching to that thought.
So as we get in more to this meditation,
Let's take a deep breath in together and hold at the top and release and hold.
Deep breath in,
Hold,
Release,
Hold.
Then deep breath in,
Hold,
Release,
Hold.
Another deep breath in,
Hold,
Release,
Hold.
Return to gentle,
Rhythmic breathing.
And noticing any tightness anywhere in your body,
Whether it be your hips or your shoulders,
Your neck,
Just notice without judgment.
Now using your breath as a way to relax every part of your body and bring oxygen and light and positivity to that area.
When you breathe in through your nose,
I want you to imagine that breath going to the areas in your body that need it most.
You can start then at the top of your head and imagine each breath cleansing,
Lightening,
Detoxifying as it swirls up through your nose to your brain,
Down your neck,
Down your spinal column,
To your pelvis,
Down your legs,
Past your knees and your shins,
Down to your ankles,
To the tops of your feet,
To the bottoms and out.
And each breath you take is like a wave following that circuit.
So everything is in motion,
Everything is in flow,
Any blocks are removed by the wave of breath.
You see the color of the wave that you imagined.
For me,
I imagined blue and white.
You might have seen purple or red or yellow.
The color that you chose does mean something.
It's most closely associated to the chakra that needs the most attention.
If you imagined a green light in the wave going over your body,
That means your heart space needs attention,
Needs cracking open.
With what we've all been through,
A lot of our hearts are hardened.
Find a way to breathe through that,
To release any hardening in your heart.
And then I want you to bring it up higher and release any fear in your brain,
In your amygdala.
Imagine the spot in between your eyes on your forehead.
Imagine that getting larger.
And imagine a small part in the center back of your brain,
The amygdala,
Getting smaller.
Your compassion,
Your empathy,
Your reasoning,
Even your intuitive power is expanding.
And the fear,
Fear of death,
Fear of threats,
Shrinks even more.
We all need a little bit of fear to wake us up to danger,
But we don't need it to overrun us,
To take over our thinking and our reason.
So keep breathing.
Imagine your colorful wave sweeping up through your nose,
Over your brain,
Down your neck,
That spinal column,
Past your heart,
To your pelvis,
The floor,
And then sweeping back up,
Energizing,
Healing.
You feel the vibration of the energy in and around your body.
You start to realize you are not separate.
You are one with all energy and all vibration.
And the higher you go,
The more beautiful your life experience will be.
Keep breathing.
Keep visualizing.
Feel any tension melt away with every breath.
There's nothing that you cannot conquer.
There is no conversation that is too hard for you to have.
You are brave.
You are courageous.
Being in a chaotic world requires you to be courageous,
And you already know that you are.
Keep breathing.
A few more.
One more wave through your nose,
Over your brain,
Down your neck,
Past your heart,
Down your spinal column,
To your pelvis,
And back up.
Hear the wave.
It's powerful.
Let's take one more deep breath in together.
Hold.
Release.
Longer than you want to.
Hold.
Take a deep breath in again.
And release that out.
Good.
Return to natural breathing.
You can flutter your eyes open,
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Do some neck rolls,
Some shoulder rolls.
Notice just by breathing how much looser you feel in your body.
Even as a guide,
I feel it right now.
