Okay,
So we're going to do a deep rest meditation.
You can use this,
You know,
Before you go to sleep in the evening,
Or if you want to take some time in the afternoon to come into its basis,
Rest,
Rejuvenation,
Relaxation,
A moment to nourish yourself when you're having a busy day,
Sometimes just take a few minutes to cozy up and tune into yourself,
Your breath,
Sometimes that's all we need to replenish without caffeine,
Without external sources,
But go on and get yourself cozy now.
Maybe that means dimming the lights,
Or putting on a big sweater,
Fluffy pair of socks,
Maybe pulling a blanket over you,
Just give yourself a moment to prepare.
And when you're ready,
Go on and close your eyes,
And let's begin by taking a deep breath in,
Filling yourself up,
And holding it at the top for 7,
6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1,
And exhaling with a sigh for 8,
7,
6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
And now just moving your hands to your belly or to your heart,
Wherever you feel calm,
And taking a few more deep breaths in your own rhythm,
Just really tuning in.
If any thoughts have arisen,
Just pick up them,
Don't judge them,
And take a moment to observe them,
And then let them go.
Just continuing to breathe slowly,
Deeply,
If there's an area of your body that feels tight or tense,
Just sending your breath there,
And now begin to imagine a lavender mist sprinkling down from above,
Coming over you,
Coating your room,
Your skin,
With this sparkling lavender light,
This misty,
Vapor-y light,
And letting it sink into your skin now,
Feeling the effects of this soothing lavender get into your body,
This healing lavender light,
Has the power to cool,
To send a signal to your muscles to relax,
And melt like honey,
To soothe your thoughts,
And if you find your thoughts still moving around,
You can focus them on this lavender misty light,
Moving through your body,
Imagine it,
Moving from your toes,
Up your feet,
Moving up your calves,
Just soothing and relaxing everything as it flows up,
And feel the warmth of the lavender.
You might even notice the smell,
Like fresh lavender fields,
As it moves up your knees and your thighs,
Sprinkling this beautiful light up your hips,
Your stomach,
And as it goes,
Bringing ease,
Bringing a softness up your chest,
Deepening your breath as it goes up your throat,
Up your jaw,
Bringing so much relaxation to your jaw,
Encouraging your mouth to fall apart in relaxation,
And just moving up your face,
This beautiful,
Loving lavender light,
Up your cheekbones,
Your eyes,
Bringing rest to our eyes that do so much for us during the day,
And then moving up our foreheads and releasing any tension that we're holding there in our eyebrows or in our foreheads themselves,
And fully coating your scalp,
Almost massaging you from the inside out,
As this lavender misty light releases your body on a physical level,
Making your body feel heavy,
But relaxed,
You know,
That deep happiness,
As it does this,
As it allows you to sink into the cord of the chair,
The bed or the sofa beneath you,
Too,
It is cleansing your energy,
It is blurring and softly pushing out any toxins that you've been holding onto energetically,
And it's replacing with the energy of love,
Compassion,
Grace,
Understanding,
Inner peace,
Feel yourself filled up with this peaceful energy,
And imagine it expanding out of your body,
This beautiful lavender misty light expanding past your room,
Past the building that you're in,
Past your city,
Your country,
And expanding all over this world,
Connecting you,
Your body,
Your spirit,
Your mind,
To all other beings,
To all other souls,
And bringing you the inner smile when you realize,
Once again,
That you are never alone,
That you are always connected with all beings on this earth,
That you are supported for by the universe,
And by humankind,
Breathing in that sense of connection,
That knowing that we are all one,
That you are loved,
That you are cared for,
That you matter,
And that you're taking this time to rest and replenish yourself is a crucial part in you showing up in this world as the most authentic,
Meaningful version of yourself.
When we are restored,
We show up optimally in relationships,
In our work,
And for ourselves,
Mentally,
Emotionally,
Spiritually,
And physically.
Just continuing now to take these deep breaths.
If you're still awake,
You can move your hand to your belly,
Both hands if you like,
Or you can place the other hand on your heart or your forehead.
Really taking breaths into these spaces now,
Expanding them,
And then even more of that lavender mist,
That lavender light,
This healing,
Warm energy,
And really squeezing it up there at the top,
And then exhaling,
And just continuing to take your own breaths now,
In your own rhythm.
