The Sacred Darkness, Interior Light And Spiritual Depth Of Winter

This mini-course is for everyone who would like to discover new ways to delight and pleasurably rest in the sacred darkness of Winter, absorb its wisdom, and honor the deep spiritual experiences it can bring. It also suggests ways to find relief from the stresses of the driven approach we often feel forced to take part in, and instead come into gentle harmony with Nature and the Earth. The first lesson invites you to reframe any negativity you feel about darkness. It includes a meditation in which you are invited to lean into darkness and find depth there. Once you are on friendly terms with darkness we move to lesson two which begins with a reflection on the third eye centre and its relationship with the pineal gland. The meditation invites you to energize your third eye and find interior light. In the third lesson, we visit and experience Yoga Nidra which, of anything we might do during the Winter months, is probably the practice that can most support and sustain us. *At the end of lessons two and three you are signposted to tracks and courses that will support and enhance what you have learned. Meet your Teacher

Debra has over forty years of journeying with Consciousness and has been teaching for thirty-five of these. She specialises in yoga Nidra and is a Reiki Master. In this course she brings together sacred practices and her own life time of consciously living on the inside of Nature's seasons and cycles.

Lesson 1

Befriending Darkness To Find Depth

We reflect on the pleasure and depth darkness can bring to us, in the dark half of Nature's year. You are invited to experience a guided meditation to sit with darkness (and whatever level of soothing light you feel comfortable with) and learn to appreciate it as a sanctuary you can return to whenever you want to.

Lesson 2

Finding Interior Light By Energizing The Third Eye

We focus on the third eye and its relationship to the pineal gland. You are invited to experience a meditation which will ground you through your body and guide your attention to your third eye centre. Different suggestions are offered for resting here and energising the third eye as a way of accessing inner light and intuitive wisdom. You will be signposted to a Reiki course and tracks so that you can try a hands on approach and balance your third eye in the context of your other chakras.

Effortlessly Have The ‘Me Time’ You Dream Of With Yoga Nidra

During a time that can often involve juggling a lot of things whether it is work, caring responsibilities, or children, Yoga Nidra can provide the blissful rest you dream of amid your everyday life. This lesson briefly introduces you to the benefits and eight stages of Yoga Nidra and invites you to experience a Yoga Nidra session. If you want to explore Yoga Nidra further, you are sign-posted to two Yoga Nidra courses and a selection of tracks to help you learn more and support you through the Winter months.
