Have you ever had those days where there's just so much heaviness,

Disappointment and sadness that just exhausts you?

On these days,

I feel I'm not good enough or nothing I do is acceptable.

And the weight of these thoughts loads me down that I just want to lay on the couch to help hold me up.

I feel this heaviness in my belly,

Sadness in my chest,

Sometimes even a clog in my throat.

Why am I not good enough?

And when I really look at that and sit with it,

It starts to come down to an energy of rejection,

Feeling unaccepted,

Unworthy,

Unloved.

Realizing I'm dependent on the external affirmations to tell me whether I'm worthy,

Loved and accepted.

Like leaving the door wide open for rejection to slither in and allow others' beliefs,

Perceptions,

Opinions to decorate my inner home,

Leaving me uninspired and exhausted.

Whether the boss accepted the idea or not,

Whether my family agrees with me or not,

It just is.

I don't need to buy it and put it on my wall.

It can stay at the store of others' opinions versus buying it and bringing it into my home.

The mind will say conditioned things like trust authority in what the boss says,

Respect your father's one way of doing it,

Or mother's know best,

So follow others' way and your life will change.

I have a question to ponder.

Would it really change for the better?

Is the exhaustion from all the other voices decorating your house with their clutter?

Have you ever been thankful you didn't buy something and bring it home?

Or bought it and realized it really didn't fit and returned it?

Let's take some time to declutter and redecorate.

I invite you to grab anything you need as you start to sit down and settle in,

Taking some deep breaths down into your belly,

Feeling your body touch the seat below you as you're on solid ground,

Bringing awareness into your mind's eye,

To your inner home,

A place you feel security in the comfort,

Softness in the air,

And connection in the decor.

As you look around,

You realize there is a glow of light flickering,

And it's warm,

Glowing fireplace with a cushion and blanket for you to rest on,

A place just for you.

You can feel the flame from the fire as it warms you,

And the smell of the fire awakens something within you.

In the crackling of the wood,

You realize this fire is speaking to you.

Place this fire into a bubble,

Allowing it to show you what it has to say regarding the exhaustion of others' beliefs and opinions.

Observing this fireplace,

Allowing some space to move.

There may be a certain part that calls to you,

Or there may just be stillness,

And stillness is okay.

Space is allowing it to move,

Whether you can see it or not with your own eyes.

Just bring in any compassion for yourself and the fireplace.

Underneath the exhaustion,

There may be some energies of failure,

Incompetency,

Unworthiness,

Or any others.

Just give them space and allow it to be.

As you observe,

Release the,

I'm not enough,

Into the flames.

Releasing the voice of,

There's only one right way.

Release and dissolve as the unworthiness burns and the,

I'm not okay to be me,

Melts into the fire.

Check in on your breath as you release and let go.

And as you release,

Look around.

What's hanging on the walls that doesn't feel like you?

Maybe a picture frame holding someone else's belief.

Follow this to be successful.

Or anything else you see.

If there's anything that doesn't feel like you,

You can take it down.

Thank it for trying to help.

And place it in the fireplace.

It doesn't need to decorate your space anymore.

Any old expectations or inherited shoulds taking up any space?

Move it out.

Release it.

Is there anything else you'd like to put here instead?

Some spaciousness.

Something that reflects who you are.

Notice how your home feels now.

This is your space.

You get to choose what to decorate on your walls.

In your space.

And take a moment to give any gratitude to what's been shown.

And pop the bubble.

Imagine a big golden sun above you.

Letting it melt all down and around you.

Filling you up.

With you.

Taking moments to consciously choose what you want to allow into your house can truly help you feel lighter and more energetic.

The clutter of what doesn't belong takes up space and takes management.

You are in charge of your home and how you want to decorate.

And take a deep breath as you start to wiggle your fingers and toes and come back.

A nice stretch or a big yawn.

I thank you for joining me today.

Good night.
