When you heal something in your mind your life will change, and you begin a new journey. This can bring up fear of change as it can alter relationships you are in. This exercise can heal a physical or psychological problem and allow you to say yes to a new and happier life.

So if you'd like to just close your eyes and feel comfortable.

Bring your focus to your heart a moment.

See if you can drop any busyness in the head,

Down through the head,

Through the neck,

And into the lovely accepting heart.

There might be a couple of hands there just to receive any thoughts.

There's no judgment of you.

You can sort of breathe into the heart.

Take a few deep breaths and breathe into that heart space.

The heart that accepts everything with no judgment.

Take at least three deep breaths.

Become aware of any sounds around you and just let them be there.

And become aware of the roar under your feet.

And now count backwards silently from 15 to zero,

Feeling yourself becoming more relaxed as you count.

Imagine a beautiful bubble of light around you,

And only the highest good can come through there.

Into that space,

Using whatever words you want,

Invite guides,

Jesus,

Holy Spirit,

God,

Goddess,

Any you think you feel comfortable with.

But they need to hear you're welcome.

They can't go against your free will.

So send out a silent prayer.

If it helps,

You can imagine it as a beautiful golden white light shining down upon you,

Covering your whole body,

Or a hand you hold.

You will not be doing this alone.

And now we're looking for something to heal.

It could be something in your body,

Or it could be a relationship.

You may know very well what you want to heal,

Or you might want to turn to your guide and say,

What is it that I need to heal?

Is it something physical,

Something psychological?

Something could appear.

If nothing's coming at all from anywhere,

Just choose someone you don't like,

Or you need to heal the relationship.

It could be someone dead,

Someone on the TV,

A politician.

If it's something in the body,

Bring your awareness there.

There might be pain there at the moment.

If it's a relationship,

You can remember the last time you lost your peace.

And there'll be a feeling in the body as well that reflects that.

So make the situation real.

Don't try and heal it.

It's all right to feel anger,

Hatred,

Sadness.

There's pain in the body,

Just let it be there.

Now I want you to make friends with this mirror in the body,

This psychological or physical sensation.

Where does this pain start and stop,

Physical or psychological?

You may not have the physical pain at the moment,

But you might have the mental attitude or fear or concern about it,

And that would be reflected in the body.

And what shape is it?

How deep does it penetrate the body?

Do you see any subjective colors there?

Does it feel dense,

Heavy,

Or light texture?

Is it any hotter or colder than the rest of the body?

And what emotion is there?

Is there any sadness,

Guilt,

Anger?

If it was to speak to you,

How would it say it felt?

And accept whatever you feel there.

It might be murderous,

That's fine.

You've discovered something,

That's good.

You might find a lack of self-worth,

Great,

You found something that could be healed.

Now turn to your guides,

Ask for some sort of picture,

Some sort of symbol,

Let it spontaneously arise,

That describes this unhealed or hurt part of the body.

Just watch what comes.

And again,

Accept what comes,

Even if it's not what you want.

And again,

Accept what comes,

Even if it may look a bit upsetting or ugly.

That's only our judgment of it.

There's a teacher arising here,

A picture,

A symbol.

Take a look at it,

Feel the feeling.

This is something you've created,

And no need to feel guilty about creating it.

Some strange way it serves you.

You may begin to see that perhaps you're a bit attached to it,

Even though it's painful.

But ask yourself,

Is it time to be free now?

Have you carried this long enough?

And remember,

Time's an illusion.

No process is necessary for healing.

It can be instant,

Or if you wish,

You can take your time.

Is it time to be free now?

And be honest with your answer.

Would you be afraid to lose it?

Would your life change so much that you'd be fearful?

Do you perhaps say to yourself,

Well,

No,

I'm wounded.

Don't expect anything of me.

I'm not saying that's it,

But have a look.

Is it time to be free now,

Which means a different life?

Your life will change,

It won't be just the pain goes.

Your life will change.

Are you willing to risk it?

If you're not,

That's all right.

Just tuck up this symbol,

Put it in your heart.

Look down on it at the time when you're ready to release it.

Send it what love you can.

But if it's time to be healed,

Turn to your guides and say,

Please change this picture,

Change this symbol into a healed symbol.

Just see what comes.

If something comes,

Please try and accept it.

It's another teacher.

Ask yourself,

If you have the second symbol,

Do I prefer the first?

If you do,

Go back to it.

Or do I want to keep this one?

And the new life that goes with it?

Am I ready to accept this healing?

I could have it instantly if I wanted to.

Are you ready for a new life?

Are you willing to take the risk?

Imagine now two doors in front of you.

Above the left door is the old symbol.

And for those who've gone for a new symbol,

That's over the second door,

The right door,

The healed door.

And the new door is over the left door.

And the old door is over the right door.

And for those who've gone for a new symbol,

That's over the second door,

The right door,

The healed door.

Ask yourself,

Which door do I want to move through?

The old life is the left door.

The new healed life is the right door.

And there's different lives behind that.

You might want to poke your head through both.

Choose a door on the other side of your guides and they'll walk with you with no judgment.

Take what time you need to complete the exercise.

Accept it as far as you've gone,

Knowing you can always repeat it.

And when you're ready,

Just come back and open your eyes.
