Panic, anxiety ,and fear can have huge effects on your personal well-being and health in times like this. Finding compassion for ourselves, staying with the panic, reminding ourselves that what is, is, is what I hope you can find in this meditation. I created this from my own experience. I am not a professional meditation teacher, just a student of mindfulness, meditation, yoga and LIFE!

Welcome to this meditation.

This meditation is for everyone who is feeling a little bit uncomfortable these days.

This feeling,

A little bit of panic and frenzy,

Insecurity.

There is a lot of fear and worry and anxiety in many people to get infected by the coronavirus.

What we often forget is that we can infect ourselves through fear and panic and other negative emotions that are taking over our body.

So in this meditation I invite you to face these fears,

To give them acceptance and unconditional love,

Our first reaction towards negative feelings is often to turn away,

To fight them off.

I invite you now to sit with these negative feelings,

Locate them in your body.

Where do they manifest?

Feel into your body.

Can you feel any unusual sensation anywhere?

Do you feel a strange feeling in your stomach,

In your throat?

Try and sit with this feeling.

Don't try and push it away.

Don't get angry at it,

Don't judge it,

Just sit there.

This is part of you now.

The most important thing to notice is that we are whole despite all negative feelings you might have.

We are whole and we are okay.

I invite you now to sit with any feeling of unease that you might have and to tell yourself I'm okay.

I am whole and I am okay.

You are whole and you are okay.

We are whole and we are okay.

Repeat this in your head for as often as you need to and when you can feel a rising panic or feeling of unease throughout your day,

Remind yourself of that thought that you are okay.

I am okay,

I am whole.

Namaste.

Namaste.

Namaste.
