In this EFT Tapping meditation, we will be working on the fear of the unknown. Sometimes, it's okay to be afraid but it might feel uncomfortable. Sometimes that discomfort stops us from moving forward. Let's work on knowing that it's okay to be a little scared and still walk into the unknown. Music by: Chris Collins

Welcome to your Working Through the Fear of the Unknown,

EFT-topping meditation.

When we're faced with something that is unknown to us,

It's so common to have fear around that,

Because what we don't know,

We usually fear.

But I want this EFT-topping meditation to really help you to understand that sometimes that fear is okay,

And it's okay to experience that and to feel that,

And to go into the unknown anyway.

Especially when deep down we know that that unknown is right for us,

Even if we have no idea what it looks like.

So that is what we are going to be tapping on today.

So right now,

I want you to think about anything unknown that you're stepping into in your life,

And maybe some fear and doubts that you have around that.

And graze yourself from a 1 through 10,

10 being the strongest on any fear or doubt that you have around stepping into that unknown.

And we're going to work on lowering that number throughout this meditation.

So you can go ahead and get comfortable,

And you can either just listen to the words that I say,

Or repeat them back to me.

So let's get started.

Go ahead and take a deep breath in,

And out.

Start tapping on the side of your hand.

Even though sometimes I feel afraid of what lies ahead,

I fully love and accept myself.

Even though sometimes I let the fear of the unknown rule how I feel,

I fully love and accept myself.

I know that I can get to a place where I am okay with the fear,

Because I know that the unknown is meant for me,

And the fear is temporary.

And I fully love and accept myself.

Take a deep breath in,

And out.

Eyebrow.

I don't always like the unknown.

Sometimes it's just nice to do what feels comfortable.

Under eye.

I don't always like when I'm uncomfortable.

Under nose.

I realize that I need to feel uncomfortable sometimes to move to the next step.

But sometimes I just don't want to put myself through that.

I want to release all of these heavy feelings.

Under your armpit.

I want to feel more okay knowing that I might feel a little uncomfortable.

Top of the head.

I want to feel okay knowing that I don't know everything.

Take a deep breath in,

Sometimes I feel so afraid to feel uncomfortable.

But sometimes I know moving into the unknown is how I'm going to get where I want to go.

Under nose.

So I want to feel okay moving into the unknown.

Under mouth.

I want to acknowledge the fear that I have.

Collarbone.

I also want to acknowledge that I'm scared sometimes of what I don't know.

Under your armpit.

But I also want to know that that's okay.

And I also want to release those feelings that I'm holding onto.

Top of the head.

I want to release anything stopping me from going where I'm meant to go.

Take a deep breath in,

And out.

Eyebrow.

Under mouth.

What if I trusted myself?

Collarbone.

What if I believed the unknown was okay because it was where I was supposed to go?

Under your armpit.

What if I knew that this was the journey that I was supposed to have?

Top of the head.

What if everything turned out exactly as I wanted it to?

Take a deep breath in,

And out.

Eyebrow.

It's okay to be a little scared.

I allow this feeling to exist.

I allow this feeling to exist,

And also know that it doesn't control me.

Even if it's scary.

Under your armpit.

And that's okay that I felt that fear.

Under mouth.

I trust that getting out of my comfort zone will be so good for me.

Collarbone.

I will learn so much stepping into the unknown.

Under your armpit.

I know that this is meant for me to experience.

Top of the head.

And I know that I will be okay.

Take a deep breath in,

And out.

Eyebrow.

It's safe for me to step into the unknown.

Side eye.

I know that I can handle anything that comes up for me.

Under eye.

I can take care of myself always.

Under nose.

I can figure it out.

Under mouth.

I have so much faith in myself.

Collarbone.

I have so much faith in the path that I am on.

Under your armpit.

It's okay to be scared.

That's normal.

Top of the head.

I know that stepping into this unknown is right for me.

And I fully love and accept myself.

Take a deep breath in,

And out.

That is the end of this EFT tapping meditation.

You can go ahead and regrade yourself on what you graded at the beginning of this meditation.

For one through ten.

Ten being the strongest feelings of fear or discomfort around stepping into the unknown.

And just see if your number went down at all.

Or if you just feel better,

Your energy feels better,

A little lighter.

That's really all that matters.

So if you want to learn any more about EFT tapping,

Maybe this was your first time or you just want to learn a little more about it,

I have a course on Insight Timer called Release and Reframe Your Anxiety with EFT Tapping.

Where we'll go all through EFT tapping and then how to release your anxiety using it.

So check that out and it's free if you have a subscription on Insight Timer.

So again,

I want to thank you so much for listening and I hope you have a great rest of your day.
