Earth Rebels Session 8 - Rebellion Cells
To heal is to make whole, or to see something in all its aspects. This is the purpose of this course, a healing revolution. As such, we will view healing from a new angle in this session - which also means that we will look at evil from a new angle: from the perspective of intergenerational traumas and emotional wounds.

Since you are here in this course,
It is clear that you are called on the path as a healer.
To heal is to make whole,
To shed the light of awareness at the shadows within you and around you.
In all the old societies,
Every tribe had at least one healer,
Sometimes several.
Today we have medical doctors and nurses doing their best to care for our physical and mental health,
But true healing is more than that.
It's about the health of our heart and the health of all our relationships.
This is where we can all do our own healing work.
There are as many paths to healing as there are people on earth.
You can heal with hugs,
With your smile,
With your profession,
With your art and creativity.
And there is a lot to heal in this world.
A lot.
Where do we even start?
I suggest that we start where we stand.
Right here,
Right now.
In your own breath,
In your own body,
In your family,
In your friends.
In your personal economy,
Your work,
Your home,
Your life.
Your life is the forefront of this healing,
Of this rebellion.
It is here in the center of our own life that we find the lingering proliferations of empire that hold us down and starve us emotionally.
Here we can find them and heal them,
One by one.
How do they look like?
I say heal them because they look like wounds.
Not physical,
But invisible,
Emotional wounds.
I will call them traumas from now on.
But this type of trauma is more subtle than the trauma we can suffer after violent crimes or warfare.
And unfortunately we all carry this type of trauma.
So many in fact that we sometimes even mistake them for our personality.
I like to see these traumas as a kind of baggage of ancestral wounds that have been passed on for countless generations.
Our first ones we likely received at birth,
Unless we were born in unusually peaceful situations.
We receive them as we were born,
In a crowded hospital with stressed doctors and nurses,
In a sterile,
Cold and emotionally detached environment.
Perhaps our mom was given tranquilizers to numb her pain.
Perhaps we were born through cesarean section.
The world we entered was harsh and our big safety was our mom and dad,
In most cases.
In some cases we got our second traumas here,
Our first golden scars.
Perhaps our parents were not emotionally or physically available to us.
Perhaps they both needed to work.
Perhaps we were put in a kindergarten with other youngsters,
All missing their parents and all of them having to learn to numb their pain,
To not scream,
To not cry,
To grow up.
Remember the numbness we talked about in the first session.
We are not born numb.
We learn it unconsciously as a defense mechanism.
And even if we had such luck,
Such a tremendous blessing to have both parents present and loving during our childhood,
That luck probably ran out when we began school.
Because in school the traumas of our classmates and their ancestral baggage gets mingled and mixed into a cocktail that we call growing up.
Growing up in this way can actually mean to learn not to trust in other,
To learn to be anxious about what people might think of us or say to us.
And like lies,
These traumas jump from one kid to another.
Every fight,
Every competition we do for our status,
Every battle,
Sometimes they manifest into something truly nasty known as bullying.
Eventually we get through school and our personality begins to form through these traumas.
We get some new ones at work perhaps.
We get some new ones in our friendships and our partnerships.
And we end up passing most of these traumas on to our children unless we find our way to a healing path in life.
Unfortunately this is not all of it.
These traumas are just our personal ones.
We also have the collective traumas.
A collective weight in our subconscious psyche from all the violence the past millenias.
Collective traumas of the violence made by men,
Of the violence and discrimination on women.
Collective traumas from colonization,
Slavery,
Thousands of wars,
Genocides.
And remember it was only two generations ago that we had two world wars.
It's not forgotten that quickly by our nervous system.
All of this is quite a big chunk of suffering.
It's a wonder we can even breathe.
A real miracle.
Luckily all of these traumas share an important fact.
They are a product of our imagination.
They're all made up in the mind.
Because at this point they're only memories.
And even if they stay for so long that they begin to take physical form as imprints in our DNA or tensions in our muscles.
They never define us.
They are never who you truly are.
And all of these traumas which can manifest as a general anxiety,
Mysterious bodily pains and a variety of illnesses is the scope of our healing mission.
Some of them have been passed on for thousands of years through warfare,
Colonization,
Through oppression and through reaction.
Because every time we react and act from these traumas in ourselves,
That's the moment we pass them on.
That very moment is also the moment of opportunity.
This is where our enemy gets reborn again and again.
This is where the wheel of samsara keeps turning and turning.
And every time we pass the violence further,
Recreated and sawn into the entangled web of wounds that we can call empire.
This web,
This horrible destructive web is very dangerous.
So be wary.
It even has its own intelligence and a whole range of pawns at its use.
Remember the zombies we talked about.
If you're not in charge of your own life,
Guess who is controlling you?
It is this malign force born from our shadows.
And I repeat,
This darkness is very potent.
It can twist everything for its own purposes.
It can even drive a human being to suicide or drive a human being to kill another with cold blooded intent.
And how?
How can you and me possibly stop this behemoth?
How can we stop this train of that is running loose without any brakes,
Polluting and destroying whatever it comes?
This sticky web of illness,
Consumerism and confusion that is tightening its grip on the earth and slowly suffocating her with fumes from all the oil we tapped from her veins.
How do you even fight an enemy so vast it has corrupted every social structure on every level?
An enemy that hides from us in plain sight inside our own minds.
You fight it with the one thing that it cannot resist.
You fight it with unconditional love,
Radical love,
Powerful love,
Radiant brilliant love.
This love that is a lamp in the darkness,
This love that is holding you,
That is holding all of us.
Call it earth's love,
Call it God's love.
Call it whatever you want.
It is endless,
Boundless,
Nameless.
This love that can forgive anything.
When we connect with this love,
Everything changes.
The healing begins.
The transformation takes place.
The revolution sparks.
The revolution of the heart.
And how do we find this love then?
How to find such a treasure in this mechanical,
Automated,
Digitalized world?
It's everywhere.
But it has become to us what water is to a fish.
Just like how we inhale new fresh air every breath without noticing it,
We can walk through life without noticing this infinite love.
But we need only to look in the eyes of our friends,
Our beautiful friends,
Our partner,
Mentors,
Our loved ones,
To find it.
At some point your parents will appear in your journey,
If they aren't already here with you.
Your grandfathers and grandmothers too.
Both the living ones and the ones who went to the next phase of existence already.
All indigenous populations have had a strong relationship with their ancestors.
This was broken when our empires formed.
Here in Sweden,
The Sami people were banned from visiting their holy shrines in nature,
Where they went to talk with their loved ones who had passed away.
And it wasn't just the connection with their ancestors that was broken.
Our family lines have been shattered.
Our connection with our parents.
And their connection with each other.
As we are all expected to raise children and at the same time maintain full-time jobs,
More than half of Swedish relationships end in separation.
More than half.
More than half.
Talk about traumas for our children and for ourselves.
This is all part of the empire's strategy.
Divide et impera.
Divide and rule.
The more shattered our communities are,
The more emotional distance we have to our parents,
Friends and relatives.
The weaker we are,
The easier we are to control,
To learn,
Trick us,
Make us believe that money will make us happy.
Lie to us that stuff will make us happy.
So call out to your ancestors.
Begin with the ones you feel most safe with.
Maybe a grandmother who held you as a kid.
Maybe a grandfather who told you stories.
Talk to them.
In your heart or even out loud.
Express your gratitude to them.
Maybe we never felt held as a kid by anyone.
Maybe all our relatives,
Even our parents,
Were too kidnapped by empire to give us this love that we deserve.
We can still feel it now.
From our big mama,
The earth,
Who's holding us in the big womb.
In some indigenous tribes of America,
They use a ritual known as a sweat lodge.
It's a dark cave built with sticks and animal hides.
Inside you put hot stones and pour water on them and sing and pray and sweat.
This lodge is likened to the womb of our mothers that we all enter the world through.
To go into the lodge is to return to the womb to feel that safety again.
To feel that endless love from our mother.
And there is sometimes mentioned of an even bigger womb than the sweat lodge.
And that is the womb that we are living in right now.
The big planetary womb called planet earth.
Here we have the sky covering our heads and soil under our feet.
It's an incredible womb full of living animals,
Plants,
Fresh water to drink,
Air to breathe.
And this womb is what we are learning to take care of.
So in this way of looking we go from one womb to another.
And when you begin to tap into this love,
This renewal of your spirit,
You leave the old mind of the empire behind.
I feel I need to warn you again that it's likely not going to be easy.
Be ready that your parents might not approve or even support your life choices.
And neither some friends.
Just love them anyway.
But know that your Nebuchadnezzar crew will be there for you,
With you.
Once you leave the matrix you can never go back.
So it's good to find that crew if you haven't already.
Your tribe of renegade earth rebels.
Look for the weary travelers,
Souls who have roamed this earth long enough to see what is truly going on behind the wheels.
And as you find your tribe,
Your strength multiplied tenfold.
Each tribe becomes like a cell,
Operating with its own wisdom,
Its own culture.
In this way our circle is much stronger than if we were one unified mass.
One cell can fall.
There will be thousands upon thousands left standing in their power.
It's a little bit like terrorists have cells.
We need cells too for a very different kind of jihad.
For the true meaning of jihad which is the holy battle between the light and the darkness.
The battle where we have turned our spears into ploughs and our guns into solar panels.
Can you imagine all of these different rebellion cells rising up against empire,
Refusing to play that old rotten game with its obvious winners and losers.
An army of earth rebels.
Planting seeds of this new culture,
Healing our broken relationships.
One step at a time.
One breath at a time.
