Welcome to day 13.

Let's take a moment to scan through your body and send some inner emails of relaxation.

Start with the feet.

Move up through the body,

Feel your calves.

Thighs.

Hips.

Belly.

Chest.

Invite all body parts to relax.

Your back.

Shoulders.

Arms,

Hands,

Neck.

Throat and face.

Remember that you're only sending an invitation to relax.

There's no need to force anything.

Just allow whatever you feel to be here right now.

In every breath,

Electrical and chemical energy is flowing throughout your body.

Energy that travels through your vast nervous system.

In fact,

Your nerves are so thin and so many that they could reach all around the earth.

Did you ever hear the expression,

Nerves of steel?

Actually,

It would be more appropriate to say that you have nerves of light.

Yes,

Light.

Blood flows in your veins,

But in your nerves,

Light flows in this very moment.

Bouncing between the three nerve centers in your brain,

Your heart and your belly.

Imagine that.

A body full of invisible energy.

Invisible,

Yet detectable.

By feeling.

Did you ever feel a swirl in your stomach or a shivering in your spine?

This is the energy or the light in your veins flowing,

Shifting inside of you.

All around the world,

Ancient traditions and religions emphasize the breath as the vessel of our spirit,

Our life energy.

When we get caught in negative mental or emotional patterns,

This flow of energy becomes blocked,

Which affects our whole life.

On your journey to peace,

You're learning to create the optimal circumstances for the body and mind to work.

For your thoughts to be coherent and focused.

For your heart to be soft and strong,

So that your energy can flow freely.

Let's practice.

Tune into your breath and allow whatever sensations you experience to come and go.

Let the breath flow and imagine the wave of air it makes in your lungs.

How does it feel to breathe when you remember that your body produces energy from this oxygen?

A million miniature fires are lit in your cells in every breath.

Your cells will absorb and release this energy breath by breath,

Turning it into thoughts and feelings.

It all happens naturally.

You don't have to do anything.

Just breathe.

Breathe.

You don't have to do anything.

Breathing in,

Breathing out.

Congratulations.
