Welcome to this cold plunge prep.
What we're going to be doing is getting into a mindset that is healthy and beneficial.
You're going to feel so good after this cold plunge.
We're going to start by regulating our breath,
Getting into a mindset,
And then there's going to be a period of music at the end where if you are cold plunging you can continue this music and enjoy your cold plunge.
Start by regulating your breath,
Breathing in and out through your nose in a regular rhythm,
Breathing into the count of three.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
And exhale,
Two,
Three.
Inhale,
And exhale,
And increasing the time.
Inhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Inhale,
And exhale,
And inhale,
And exhale.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Exhale.
Inhale,
Continuing to breathe,
Calming your nervous system down.
Now close your eyes.
Imagine yourself stepping into this water.
Feel the chill on your legs.
Feel that sensation all over your body as you sink into the water.
It almost takes your breath away,
But you're continuing to breathe in this regular rhythm.
You feel the panic settling.
You feel yourself You feel yourself calming down,
Easing into this moment.
Part of you is very worried and nervous about this cold temperature.
This is uncomfortable.
Your body is doing such a good job wanting to protect you and keep you safe,
But you can tell it it's all right.
We are safe.
I feel fine.
When you go into this water and you have this reaction,
You're going to be fine.
You're going to survive.
You're going to come out even stronger,
And this is going to boost your confidence,
Boost your immune system.
It's going to massage your veins,
Massage your muscles,
Just by going in this cold water,
And this boost in your endorphins is going to last for hours.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes,
Coming back to this mental prep.
You can do this.
You are strong.
You're going to be fine.
Continue to breathe in this regulated rhythm.
Enjoy your cold plunge.
