
Pictrance 1: Art And Picture Focus

A guided meditation process using Pictures and Art as a focus point to gain more confidence in your abilities, talents and skills. As you participate be sure you are not driving or operating machinery that requires your attention and simply let yourself focus upon a picture you've selected and follow along. You can relisten to this multiple times. Each time you do, think about something you want to attract into your life and how your talents, abilities and skills will help you get it.

Hello,
Everyone.
Good morning,
Good afternoon,
Good evening.
My name is George Guarino,
And I'm here to offer you a wonderful process that you can participate in using pictures and pieces of art.
The first thing that it would be important for you to do is to find a picture that you can look at.
Now,
Many times I use an abstracted picture,
A picture with no particular reference points in it,
But you can certainly choose a picture that does have fields or streams or houses or flowers in it.
That's perfectly okay.
But try to make it a picture that you don't have any particular connection to,
A picture that's new for you today.
Now,
You may not be prepared right now to have that picture,
Or it may be one that's in a book right in front of you.
But get that picture out,
Perhaps even stop this audio for a moment,
And get yourself into a comfortable place where you can look at the picture.
Because when you do look at the picture,
I want you to find a point in the picture,
One point in the picture that draws your attention,
One point that you can allow yourself to have your attention drawn to.
And I want you to think about something that you would like to move toward in your life,
Something that's important for you to have more of,
Something that you'd like to accomplish.
This process can be used for so many things,
This guided meditation that I call picturance.
And I'd like you to reap the benefits of it today,
Tomorrow,
And the next.
So as you have found that picture,
Go ahead and look at the picture,
And look at that point in the picture.
And just for a moment,
Close your eyes down.
Now go ahead and open your eyes,
And once again look at the picture.
Just be sure for this moment in time that that point is the point that attracts your attention,
There's no right or wrong,
But sometimes it's a line,
Or it's a color,
Or it's a texture.
Perhaps even imagine touching it,
Perhaps imagine what it might be saying to you.
What is the color like?
And find that point,
And within the point,
Find another point that's even smaller.
And now close your eyes down for a moment.
That's right.
Now open your eyes,
And as you listen to the sound of my voice,
And focus your attention on that one point in the picture,
Just let everything else fade away for a while.
You're just concerned with that point,
Focusing on that one point.
And now close your eyes down,
And just imagine that you can let the being that is you begin to move toward the picture,
Begin to move toward that point,
And go through that point to the other side,
Into this place of learning,
And relax for a while.
Just relax as if you're sitting in a chair lying down,
Whatever it is that's right for you now.
Know that you can listen to the sound of my voice,
And know where you've left your hands resting,
Your arms,
The clothes on your body.
Feel how comfortable you can begin to let yourself relax and let go for a while.
And think about what it is,
That one thing today that you'd like to have more of in your life,
More confidence perhaps,
More of an ability to use your skills and connect with those people that need your skills and your talents.
Perhaps it's a relationship,
Finding that person that's a good match for you,
Someone who interests you,
That is a complement to the needs that you have,
And you to the needs that they have.
Perhaps even think about someone in your life that you love or admire,
And relax even more so.
You can just let go and listen to the sound of my voice,
As if you and I are talking to each other,
And you agree to let yourself have this experience.
Let yourself relax even more so.
And you could even be imagining that you're sitting in that chair,
Lying on that beach,
With your eyes closed,
And begin to notice a path,
A path that you can notice is there,
Or you just create for yourself,
And begin to walk along that path for a little ways.
Just walk along that path for just a short few steps,
Maybe further,
And notice what's in the distance,
Notice what's there for you,
And you may not see it clearly,
But you sense where it is.
And when you do that,
Just put up a marker of some sort,
Put up some kind of a signpost,
Or a You're Here sign,
Something that lets you know that you've come to the right place,
This place of learning.
And relax for a while.
Just begin to think about what it is that you need to find yourself doing,
To continue on that path towards that goal that you have in mind,
That you really want now,
That you know that it is your right,
Your joy,
Your destiny,
To bring into your life.
Let yourself.
Perhaps put anything that was standing in your way from achieving this over on the side for a while.
Maybe you just put a little circle on the ground there,
Or perhaps there's a box that you could put those things into.
And how would you put a feeling like that into a box?
We must attach it to a symbol of some sort.
Let a symbol come to you,
Or make one up,
It's completely okay.
Sometimes it's good to have a piece of paper on a pad and write a word that represents for you what was standing in your way from achieving what it is that you wanted to bring into your life.
Perhaps it's just a feather or an acorn or a blade of grass that has everything to do with holding you back from achieving this goal.
Maybe it's just the fact that you want it now.
And that now is getting in your way of noticing that it's right there for you to move toward,
For you to attain.
Whenever you need to let go of,
Put it in the box,
Put it in the circle,
Put it over there.
And focus your attention on what it is that makes you feel good,
Feel well,
And happy.
And let yourself relax for a while,
Listening to the sound of my voice,
Your voice inside,
Telling you everything you need to know now.
Letting you know that you will move toward that goal.
Very steadily in the days and the weeks,
The months to come.
And at some point you'll look back from where you are then to what's going on and notice that it has happened.
And you love that feeling.
You can feel that feeling of having what it is that you decided to bring into your life.
Maybe you can touch what you need to touch when you have that.
Perhaps smell what it is that you'll be smelling in that situation.
The scents all around you.
What it is you're feeling.
That feeling of accomplishment,
That feeling of connection,
That feeling of love and joy.
Let yourself have that moment now.
Let yourself know how skilled you are at allowing yourself to just listen to the sound of my voice,
Your voice inside,
Reminding you that you're a good person.
A person of worth,
A strong,
Comfortable person who takes care of family and friends and gets things done.
A beautiful person becoming more so.
Let yourself bring that into the deepest part of you.
Let it be there for a while as you notice that box over there,
That circle,
That area over there which contains what used to stand in your way.
And notice how that stuff can begin to evaporate or become like smoke.
Never to be put back together again.
You can never put that smoke back together again.
You can never put that evaporated solution back together again.
It's gone,
Being reformed in some other way.
It's no longer inside of you.
So you're free.
You have the permission to notice each step along the way,
Leading you toward what it is that you want to bring into your life.
That's right.
And now,
Since you've gathered that all up within you,
I want you to notice the back of the picture that you were looking at and that you traveled through that point from the back.
And notice where you once were in front of the picture.
You're no longer there.
You're back here with me.
And now,
Let yourself just imagine or pretend that you're floating through the back of the picture to the front where you came from and open your eyes and look at that picture.
Look at the picture.
Look at the point.
Look at all the different edges,
The sides,
The center.
And close your eyes down,
Knowing that any time you see the picture,
Remember the picture,
Or just know that it does exist in this world because it does.
You know that.
You'll continue on your journey toward your goal.
Now,
Open your eyes and once again see the picture.
See that point.
Notice everything about it and how good you feel,
How accomplished you are.
You started that journey and it's you now.
It's you.
Put a frame around that picture,
Perhaps,
In your memory,
In your mind.
And notice what it would be like to touch the textures,
To hear it speaking to you,
Reminding you that you're doing a great job.
And close your eyes now,
Knowing that you have that framed picture inside you where you've put it,
Where it belongs now for a while.
And that any time you see the picture,
Remember the picture,
Or just know that it does exist in the world,
You will continue on your journey toward bringing that in your life that you deserve to have.
Because it is your right,
Your joy,
And your destiny to have that in your life.
Now,
Open your eyes and once again look at the picture.
See that point.
See everything about it.
Feel all the good feelings you have and close your eyes down.
Once more,
Absolutely knowing that any time you see the picture,
Remember the picture,
Or just know that it does exist in the world,
You will continue on your journey toward accomplishing your goals and getting what you want.
That's right.
Now,
Open your eyes,
Look at the picture,
Take in a nice comfortable breath.
Acclimate yourself to the room feeling fantastic.
And what I'd like you to do is to just notice you can shake yourself off,
Be the person who you are,
But you have this new feeling,
This new sensation inside that you have begun this journey now.
