Welcome to this Reiki Reset Meditation.

My name is Nicole and I'll be your guide.

If you're not already finding your way into a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down,

Dropping your eyes closed if that's comfortable or taking a soft gaze and bringing in a few long,

Slow,

Deep breaths,

Ideally breathing in through your nose,

A long,

Slow,

Full inhale and a long,

Slow,

Full exhale.

On your next inhale,

Holding your breath in for a beat or two at the top and a long,

Slow,

Full exhale.

And when you're ready,

Returning your breath to its normal pace and rhythm,

Continuing to rest your awareness on your breath,

Feeling each inhale and exhale,

Inviting you to bring your awareness to your eyebrows,

Releasing any tension you might be holding there,

Softening and releasing tension in your jaw and dropping your shoulders,

Inviting Reiki to fill the air that you breathe.

And as you inhale,

Breathing in the healing,

Peaceful,

Loving,

Restorative light of Reiki.

And as you breathe in this healing light,

The light within you awakens.

Breathing in this peaceful,

Loving light,

Inviting it to go wherever it's needed right now,

Continuing to breathe in the light of Reiki as you exhale,

Clearing and releasing any stress,

Tension,

Worries,

Stuck or stagnant energy.

And we'll sit together in stillness for a while,

Soaking it all up,

Bringing your awareness back to your breath,

Taking in a few soft,

Mindful breaths here.

It's comfortable inviting you to place a hand or two over your heart,

Or you can bring your hands together in prayer pose or gassho,

Resting those over your heart.

You might offer yourself some gratitude and appreciation for carving out this time for your self-care and well-being.
