Details

This retreat offers a professional yet nurturing ambiance, designed to deepen both personal insight and therapeutic expertise. Compassion-focused therapy and Meditation have significant effects on the physiological responses of the bodily processes, including heart rate variability and vagal tone. It is a wonderful (and ancient) antidote to managing anger, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression. In this course, we will use ancient meditation techniques combined with yoga postures to learn how to effect positive and compassionate change in the brain and body. Buddhist and yogic masters have long taught how the simple mental mastery of the breath can change us for the better, both physiologically and mentally. They combine compassion meditation for structural reintegration in both the brain and body. Buddhists and Yogis have long used these simple breath, flow, and compassion practices to change lives. Benefits include hands-on practice, trauma-informed approaches, and integration of evidence-based methods in a supportive learning space. Unique features include expert facilitation, interactive group work, and a focus on compassionate, holistic care for both clients and practitioners.

Testimonials

info

I was initially drawn to this course because I had frequent stomach and back pain. I never thought I would do a yoga teacher training course. I loved the opportunity to learn from different guest teachers. I also loved how BIYOME gave me the flexibility to choose the CPD I was interested in. Through this course, I have had a great opportunity to experience and learn yoga and yoga therapy from Celia, which is so special and unique; I don’t think you can find anything like it anywhere else in the world. I would like to become a yoga teacher and share what I have learnt and what has helped me from this course. The course has given me so much more confidence and more awareness of myself. It has helped me live my life more authentically. Thank you so much!!!
