Details

Each retreat is formed by the women that attend. The programme will be modified slightly to ensure that the needs of guests can be met. We have fun, tears, debate, release... within a safe space and a safe community. All activities on the weekend are a la carte meaning choose which sessions you'd like to attend - whatever feels right for you to get what you need from the retreat. The focus will be theme based - Connections - exploring our mind/body link, breath/body, using time in nature to create calm, the emotions or feelings art or words can create.

Inspirational Yoga Space Literary Twisted Yoga has run summer classes from the beautiful St. Pedrog’s Hall and has negotiated the use of this space for our yoga and sound bathing. As it is a Church building there is something inherently spiritual or ethereal about the light and airy space enhanced by 29 window and is one of our favourite yoga spaces. The acoustics are fantastic for a sound bath.

Testimonials

info

I have just arrived back from a yoga retreat with Susie at Literary Twisted Yoga feeling enriched, empowered and at peace with the world! I spent a fabulous weekend with a like-minded diverse group of ladies staying in the amazing Glyn-Y-Weddw Art Gallery mansion house, LLanbedrog. The Connections theme of the weekend cleverly connected us all, grounding us and pushing us out of our comfort zones. The venue and the food were outstanding. The whole weekend was well organised and planned to offer a wide variety of group sessions, from walking meditation on the beach to experiencing a sound bath in a quintessential church hall, which was like stepping back in time in a most refreshing way! Susie was, as always, an empathic facilitator making it clear that all was an invitation to take part and in no way an expectation. Finally, what is so wonderful about Susie’s retreats is making friendships and forming bonds that continue. Joany, Cheshire

This was my first retreat as a solo female. I was made to feel whole heartedly welcome and felt like I was amongst friends almost immediately. The retreat was a transformative experience, focusing on connection to each other, community, nature, art and your mind, through meditation, yoga, walking in nature, and connecting with new people. I felt very supported throughout the retreat, but also able to navigate my own timetable and experience. This is a great opportunity to learn new skills to combat stress, personal growth and how better to connect with yourself and the world around you. Hayley, Birmingham
