The Rabbit.
Sensitivity,
Creativity and the dance of renewal.
Welcome,
My dear friends.
Today we gather to listen to the soft-hearted,
Keen-eared wisdom of the Rabbit.
A gentle messenger of intuition,
Fertility and quick thinking.
When Rabbit appears in your life,
It is never by accident.
This small,
Humble creature brings big medicine,
Teaching us how to balance vulnerability with awareness,
Fear with creativity and stillness with sudden action.
Rabbits live between worlds,
Always alert yet deeply connected to the earth.
They remind us that sensitivity is strength,
Their fine-tune.
Senses help them feel vibration in the ground,
Long before the danger arrives.
Spiritually,
Rabbit teaches us to trust our instincts,
Those quiet nudges of intuition that often come before the logic catches up.
When Rabbit hops into your awareness,
It might be asking,
Are you listening to your inner knowing before taking action?
Are you running from fear or moving with awareness?
And are you ready to birth something new?
A project,
A dream or a version of yourself?
Rabbits symbolize fertility and abundance,
Not only in the physical sense,
But in the creativity and life force.
They mirror nature's cycle of growth,
Retreat and renewal,
Guiding us to create rest,
Generate in rhythms of the earth.
Rabbit enjoys helping us with overwhelm,
With fear,
Self-doubt and when life gets too loud or too fast,
Rabbit shows us how to pause,
To breathe and listen to subtle signs of safety.
Through its quick reflexes,
It reminds us that fear is not the enemy,
It's information.
Fear shows us where to become more aware and where to adapt and when to leave.
Rabbit's spirit supports us,
Those healing from trauma and overexposure of distress,
Those learning to balance empathy with energetic boundaries.
And artists,
Dreamers and empaths who are rediscovering created flow.
By following Rabbit's wisdom,
We return to playfulness and curiosity,
Allowing inspiration to hop back into our lives.
So,
A few very unique features of Rabbit.
Rabbit has 360-degree vision.
They can see almost entirely around their body without turning their heads.
This symbolizes expansive perception and reminds us to see situations from multiple perspectives.
They also have strong silent communication,
Using thumbs,
Body language and energy to speak.
They teach us that not all communication is verbal.
Much like the subtle exchange between animal and human heart,
Rabbit communicates through energy,
The same language that underlies intuition and animal communication.
As you know,
I always love to share otherwise I'll tear up.
So,
One of the most beloved stories comes from East Asian folklore and it's the tale of the Moon Rabbit.
In ancient times,
The Jade Emperor disguised himself as a poor man and begged animals for food.
The monkey brought fruit,
The otter fish and the fox berries.
But Rabbit,
Who had nothing to give,
Leaped into the fire,
Offering himself.
Moved by this act of selfishness,
The Emperor placed the rabbit on the moon,
Where it still lives,
Pounding the elixir of life with a mortal and pestle.
The story is told to remind us that pure-hearted generosity and devotion.
The rabbit's courage lies not in the power but in love,
The willingness to give from the heart even when it feels small.
Across cultures,
From the Celtic to the Native American to Chinese,
The rabbit remains a symbol of renewal,
Intuition and sacred timing.
It teaches us that life is cycle and just as the moon waxes and wanes,
So do our creative and emotional tides.
So,
When Rabbit visits you,
In your dreams,
In nature,
Your thoughts,
Just pause.
Breathe deeply and ask,
Where am I being invited to soften,
To trust and to begin again?
The rabbit's medicine is gentle but profound.
It whispers,
Be still enough to feel the earth's heartbeat.
Move when the moment feels right and you are safe to create again.
