I am thrilled to be here,
Especially on this day of transformation,
This day of alignment,
This day of new birth.
And especially also at this time,
This winter solstice takes us into a time of silence,
A time of transformation,
A time to go inside.
So it's a very powerful day and this is a great way to start it.
Actually,
An even better way to start it is teaching you something,
And some of you have already learned this simple little technique that is one of my favorite things because it's easy,
Takes no time at all,
And it works,
And it's powerful.
And it's called the centering technique.
And what the centering technique does,
It brings the physical body and the heart and the mind and the emotions and the spirit all into alignment so that as you go through the day,
Your mind is whacked out with some problem here,
Your emotions are over here because there's been some blow to the heart or whatever,
And things get out of alignment.
And then we're kind of weaker and we find ourselves more tired and just not feeling fulfilled or loved.
So what the centering technique does,
It pulls all those parts of ourself back into alignment.
And so that's what we're going to learn right now.
So you can just watch me at the beginning,
And Selena will do it too.
And then after,
You can try it.
And when you first try it,
When you bring your hands again back together in front of your heart,
Have your eyes closed and just feel that energy.
Should they keep their eyes open first to watch if this is new?
Yeah,
Definitely.
But okay,
I'll tell you to close your eyes when I want you to close your eyes.
Okay,
So we begin with our hands in front of our heart,
Prayer position,
Or namaste position.
And as we inhale,
We slowly move our hands,
One hand up,
Fingers pointing straight,
Elbows straight so the energy can move down into the body.
The other hand is down as far as you can towards the navel,
Still pointing up.
And then on the exhale,
You slowly bring the hands together in front of the heart.
So we're going to do this,
I'm going to do it one more time with Selena without talking.
A little bit I'll talk.
Okay,
Ready?
Heart position,
Inhale,
Fingers straight,
Elbows straight so the energy can pour in,
Fingers down below,
Up as upright as you can get them.
And then on the exhale,
Slowly come back to center in front of the heart.
And then we'll do the other side,
And then we'll do it again on the first side.
It doesn't matter which hand you start with,
But the right is always easier because then you plant that in your mind.
So let's begin.
Hands in front of the heart,
And inhale,
And exhale.
Again,
Elbows straight,
Fingers straight.
One more time,
You can close your eyes.
Inhale,
And slowly exhale,
Eyes closed,
And just feel the energy.
So this is a very simple,
Profound technique.
It's wonderful to teach to children.
Instead of giving them time out,
You teach them how to center.
So a little louder.
And in case it wasn't clear,
We switch sides.
So rather than stand on one side,
We switch.
You're welcome to do this more than three rounds.
So we'd say this is one round,
This is two rounds,
This is three.
You're welcome to do it more than three times.
You may find that three is enough.
You may like to have an even number,
Whichever you choose.
And one thing that's really great about this technique is that we can do it all throughout the day.
It doesn't have to be just one thing that we do in the beginning of the day or the end.
You can really use this to come back to that place of alignment over and over as often as you like.
Our spiritual teacher,
Saima,
Told us that if you do the centering technique as much as you can every day for 20 days,
40 I thought.
Well,
40 is better.
40,
I like short.
40 days that you'll never have to do it again.
That your body and your emotions,
Mind,
Spirit,
Will not go out of whack.
And you'll be a solid,
In alignment with yourself.

Mary Magdalena,
Let's just feel that for a moment.
Okay.
Just feel this essence,
Eyes open or closed.

I think we'll begin by just showing a picture of Mary Magdalena.
There are many,
Many paintings and depictions of Mary.
But this one has light and Shakti.
What's Shakti?
Shakti is this vibrant energy you can feel or you know something's a little bit different.
Maybe in your body,
Maybe in your hands.
Just,
It's energy.
Vibrant energy.
Like a creative life force energy almost.
Yes.
Yes.
It's actually part of the energy you feel when you're going to do something creative.
When you get all inspired.
That's Shakti.
So,
Mary Magdalena.
Who was Mary Magdalena?
Actually,
She is the biggest mystery in religion and throughout history.
Because there are so many conflicting stories.
Mary Magdalena,
I learned from the time I was a little through the Bible that Mary Magdalena was a prostitute that Jesus saved from being stoned.
Also there are stories where Mary Magdalena was a benefactress of Jesus.
Traveled with Jesus.
Helped Jesus.
And helped teach and lead the women disciples that would come while he was preaching.
Then there's also the story that Mary Magdalena and Jesus were married and had a child together.
So,
We don't know.
The Gospels,
The three Gospels that were written about,
Well,
Three Gospels that were written were written 45 to 60 years after the death of Christ.
And they were not done by people who were there.
It was again,
And we know how knowledge can get lost through interpretation.
And we also know how you can look at one picture,
I can look at the same picture and we will see a different picture.
Color,
Shape,
Form,
Interpretation.
So what we're going to do today is have a little experience of Mary.
Because that's the way that I know Mary is from my own experience.
So what we're going to do first is we're going to have Selena lead us into an experience.
Before we move into our experience of this energy of Mary Magdalena,
I'd first like to address Susanna's question regarding practicing Dikแนฃa and the centering technique every day since you learned it with Sandy.

It's like sometimes some of you have heard me share this analogy of like a savings account where you would normally deposit money until that money accumulates and then you have so much more to draw upon.
We have this savings account of ลakti,
Of spiritual energy,
Of life force energy.
The more that we practice different tools that really fill us with that vital life force energy,
It is as if we are depositing currency into that savings account of our own life force,
Our own vibrancy.
And the centering technique and Dikแนฃa are two beautiful,
Simple,
Powerful tools that will help us to feel that fullness of that light,
That life force energy that we are.
So yes,
Yes,
Practice,
Practice,
Practice.
Ah,
So yes,
As we start to move deeper into our experience together,
Why have a session on Mary Magdalena?
Why speak of Mary Magdalena?
Why spend this time together in this grace or this curiosity around Mary Magdalena?
Mary Magdalena is an embodiment of the divine feminine,
Divine feminine ลakti.
And we know in history quite often powerful women,
Powerful feminine figures have been suppressed,
Repressed,
Repressed,
Suppressed.
I can't remember which is which now.
They've been kept in some way limited.
We know this throughout history.
Women are still facing this to this day,
Where there is this energy that keeps the feminine in limitation.
The feminine is so powerful.
And to clarify for any people in male bodies or male identifying in our session today,
Each and every one of us holds divine feminine and divine masculine energies.
It is not limited to our gender or our gender identity.
Each of us carry divine feminine and divine masculine energies.
And we have lived now on this planet for centuries,
For centuries,
With an imbalance in these divine energies,
In these energies period,
Whether they're in their highest form of divinity or not.
We have lived in imbalance,
Out of balance.
The out of balance masculine energy,
Which we have seen through patriarchal ways and beliefs,
Has held back,
Held down the love,
The love that is present in both divine feminine and divine masculine.
The caring,
The kindness,
The compassion,
The healing,
The forgiveness that is the embodiment of the divine feminine.
It has not been enlivened in our societies for the most part.
So we are here in this powerful time in creation of transformation in so many ways.
The pandemic,
So many of our political systems,
So much of what we're seeing,
Just what is being accepted in our societies around gender and gender roles,
And so many beings moving into non-binary identification,
This androgynous,
Where the divine masculine and the divine feminine can also be an embodiment of this merged oneness that we each are.
We are in such a powerful time of transition and transformation and awakening.
Awakening.
And inside of this awakening,
The divine feminine is reemerging.
The divine feminine as an embodiment of love and its fullness.
The divine feminine as an embodiment of pure,
Unconditional love,
Forgiveness,
Compassion,
Kindness.
This is awakening now.
And Mary Magdalena is one of the many,
Many exquisite embodiments of the divine feminine that have walked this earth,
And whose energy and shakti and grace still blesses this planet and blesses the life that is here.
So many divine feminine embodiments from so many traditions,
Religions,
Cultures.
So we are here today in this moment and in this time on this planet that we've all taken birth for,
To be part of this reemergence of the grace of the divine feminine,
Not just as we see it in our world around us,
Also within each of us,
Whether we are male or female or non-binary or however we choose to identify this reawakening of this divine feminine.
So let's just take a breath inside of that.
Ahhh.
And I invite you to close the eyes.
And if you choose,
I invite you to set aside any doubtful thoughts.
Actually,
Rather than set aside,
Why don't we move into the quality of the divine feminine heart and practice welcoming any doubts,
Any resistance you may have about anything you are hearing or feeling in this moment.
I invite you to practice just welcoming that into your heart.
Just welcome any resistance that may be present.
Welcome it in a way that says,
It is okay that this is here.
It is okay that I'm feeling this way.
It is okay.
This is the grace of the divine feminine,
Of Mary Magdalena.
Rather than judging and cutting out and blocking and canceling,
We welcome.
We welcome into the grace of the heart.
So I invite you to close the eyes again if they're not all ready.
And begin to deepen the breath.
Allow there to be a space between the teeth and the lips so the jaw and any tension in the throat and the neck can begin to soften.
Feel the shoulders relax down.
As you breathe,
Feel the belly and the chest expand as if you were creating more space inside of you.
And with each exhalation,
Feel this sense of letting go a little more.
We inhale this fullness of life,
The breath expansion.
And we exhale,
Giving ourselves permission to let go,
To soften,
To be just as we are.
Release any tension you may feel in the hands or the feet.
Allow the hands and the feet to feel heavier.
The legs,
Heavy and relaxed.
The pelvis and the hips gently sink down into the seat beneath you.
Feel the belly,
The back,
The chest,
The whole torso and the arms all the way into the hands,
Beginning to let go.
The small muscles around the eyes and the mouth soften.
The scalp,
The whole body,
Breathing.
And just as you are in this moment with each breath in and out.
Gently open your eyes and gaze into Mary Magdalena's beautiful face.
So much love.
So much compassion.
A woman of the world,
Born of spirit.
Two thousand years ago,
Mary and Jesus walked together,
Teaching together,
Loving humanity together.
And now two thousand years later,
The Mary Magdalena energy is reawakening.
Now gently let your eyes close again if you choose.
Let yourself be open to feeling the love of Mary Magdalena,
The compassion for life,
For humanity,
For you,
Mary has.
Allow yourself to know or to feel or to imagine how much this woman,
This being loves you.
Imagine,
Feel,
See Mary placing light in the crown of your head,
The top of your head,
The energy center that is there.
Placing light.
And then see this light connecting to and aligning to the tube of light that is above your head.
Reaching up to source,
To divinity,
To God.
Some called Buddha,
Some called Jesus,
Some called the Sun.
So many different names for this source of light and love and energy.
Now let your awareness gently move down this tube of light through the energy center on the top of your head.
And allow it to slowly move to the spot between your eyebrows.
Some called the first chakra,
Energy center,
Some called the third eye.
Now allow and see,
Feel Mary pouring light into this energy center.
The energy center of vision is being activated.
The energy center of clarity.
So you can see your purpose for being here on this planet at this time.
You can see your purpose clearly.
Some with time.
Now allow your attention and this energy,
This light to move down to the center of the throat.
Where Mary is activating authenticity,
Truth.
The authenticity to be and speak your truth to yourself,
In your relationships,
In everything you do.
Activating this very powerful energy center for a human being.
Feel the light spreading out.
Growing brighter.
It's big.
Again let your attention move down gently into the center of the chest,
To the heart center.
Some called the heart chakra.
Mary is activating,
Gifting compassion.
Compassion for yourself,
For others,
For those you serve in your life.
Compassion,
Love and forgiveness.
Feel the warmth of that activation,
That light moving out further into your physical heart.
Softening the heart.
Bringing deep peace to the heart.
So beautiful that heart chakra,
Heart center.
Now allow your energy to move down to where the rib cage meets your solar plexus.
Source of power.
Mary is activating the source of power,
The source of courage.
Courage to be who you are.
Courage to let others be who they are.
Courage to take that next step.
Feel that courage,
That light,
That activation in your solar plexus.
Become stronger.
Move out further.
Feel,
See,
Know,
Imagine this courage now being a part of you.
With a breath,
Allow your attention to move down to the space between your navel and your tailbone.
The second energy center.
The navel chakra.
This is the chakra Mary is activating for creativity.
That creative force,
That creative passion in life.
Creativity and flexibility.
Flexibility to give and take when something isn't going just to turn a different direction in ease.
When you're flexible,
Things become easier.
So feel this activation of creativity,
Flexibility,
Ease.
Imagine how that would feel.
Imagine how that does feel.
And feel the warmth spreading out into your belly.
Feel that warmth spreading out into your belly.
Light energy.
And take another deep breath and as you exhale,
Move down to the tailbone,
The base of the spine.
Allow Mary,
If you will,
To activate trust.
Trust.
The trust that you are safe.
The trust that you are loved.
The trust that you are here on this planet with humanity at this time in creation for a reason.
And trust yourself.
Now,
See,
Know,
Feel,
Imagine the body is so filled with new light,
New energy,
With all of these energy centers activated by Mary.
All of them activated and becoming brighter and brighter.
Their joy,
Grace,
Divinity,
Courage,
Vision,
Trust.
See that energy,
That light becoming more and more and moving into every organ,
Every gland.
Into the nervous system,
Into all the systems of the body,
That light is becoming brighter and brighter.
See it moving into the blood,
Every cell,
Every molecule,
Trillions of cells in your body bursting into light.
The light that is your birthright.
This light becomes brighter and brighter until the body can't hold it anymore.
And it moves out of the body.
Flows out to the area around the body.
Some call the aura,
Some call the energetic bodies,
Some call the subtle bodies.
Feel them being filled with this divine light from source.
This light that is intelligent.
Feel the hugeness of it.
This light that loves you so much.
Now as this beautiful being of light that you really truly are,
Allow this light to move out the soles of your feet.
Pouring into the earth.
Moving through the different layers of the earth.
All the beauty that's inside of the earth being turned on and touched by this light as you move towards the heart of the earth.
Arrive at the heart of the earth.
Immerse yourself in the earth mother's heart.
The first mother that loved you.
Allow yourself to feel the deepest gratitude from Mata Gaya,
The earth mother,
And from Mary Magdalena for playing this role.
Showing up to play your part in this huge transition of the earth and of every human being.
Two thousand years ago when Mary walked with Jesus it was a time of chaos,
A time of confusion,
A time of darkness.
But Mary was a light,
A tower of light,
A tower of courage,
A tower of compassion.
We have come here to play this same part at our time of chaos,
Confusion,
Darkness.
To be light beings,
To be towers of light to help guide other ones who can't see the light yet.
To burn bright as a beacon.
So feel their gratitude,
Their love for you.
Now gently allow yourself to move up through the layers of the earth,
Spreading that light,
That courage,
That power,
That light,
Brilliant light.
And back into the soles of your feet.
Moving up through the energy centers and see your light.
Feel your body filled with courage.
The courage to take your next step,
Whatever it is,
And then the next step after that one.
Trust.
Trust that you are loved.
Trust that you are here for a purpose.
You have a role to play and you are playing it with love and with compassion and forgiveness.
See the beauty of a full heart.
See the grace of speaking your truth and how when you speak your truth it allows others to speak their truth.
Feel the creativity,
The passion for life,
The passion in life.
You are such an exquisite being of light and love and joy and laughter and grace.
This place called Earth was made for us to enjoy.
And now it's our turn,
Our turn to help this happen.
To help all become in alignment.
The masculine,
The feminine,
The positive,
The negative,
The good,
The bad.
When we are in alignment,
None of that exists.
We just are in the moment,
In the wholeness,
With a heart full of peace.
Not longing for things,
Not judging,
Just allowing life to be in its perfection.
Two thousand years ago,
According to my spiritual master,
Mary Magdalena and Master Jesus and others created something called the Grand Design.
And that was to bring merging the male and the female in every human being together as one.
One heart filled with peace.
When we have peace in our heart,
There is no war.
There is no judging.
Because we know that everyone is the same light.
Everyone is the same peace.
Feel Mary Magdalena's love for you.
Allow yourself to be open,
To feel this beautiful love.
Feel Mary's embrace.
Let yourself be held.
And know,
Know that you are a light.
And play your part.
Wherever you walk,
Light moves out into the earth.
Wherever you speak,
Light moves and flows and covers everything.
When you glance at someone,
This light that you are pours out of your eyes and into their hearts.
Every thought you have is filled with love and this light.
So you spread nothing on this earth plane except for light and love and joy.
Be authentic.
Be that beacon of light that you are.
Be that beacon of courage,
That tower of courage that you are.
Be in alignment with your true self.
And know how very,
Very deeply you are loved.

But it's sometimes hard to remember who we truly are.
That we're not just these beautiful bodies,

This wonderful vehicle,
But we're beings of light.
We've come here to share and be human kind.

Devotion,
Gratitude,
Humility,
Courage,
Love.
You're all so wonderful.
This time you know that we're in right now is not the most comfortable time because we're moving and transforming.
But look what it brought us.
It brought us each other.
I mean here we are.
