We are all so busy with our day-to-day lives,

And sometimes after a trip,

Vacation,

Or even a fun weekend,

We can feel a bit blue.

Sad it's all over and time to get back into the swing of things.

This short practice can help find gratitude in a moment that may feel a little bittersweet.

Find a comfortable position,

Directly on the earth if possible,

Or simply on the ground,

With your feet crossed,

Hands on your heart,

Eyes closed.

If you are unable to do this outside,

Simply visualize yourself on the earth.

Now start to feel all the points on your body that are in contact with the earth beneath you.

You are grounded to the earth,

Grounded in the present moment,

In peace and in harmony with the earth and all that it has to offer,

Safe,

Held,

Protected,

And loved by the earth.

Take a deep breath in,

And a deep breath out,

And repeat after me.

I am grateful for this getaway.

I am grateful I was able to spend time with myself and those who helped me feel refreshed.

I enjoyed the time I had and all that it offered.

I feel rejuvenated and excited to get back to my routine.

I look forward to next time and am grateful for this beautiful life.

I am grateful for this getaway.

I feel rejuvenated and excited to get back to my routine.

I look forward to next time and am grateful for this beautiful life.

Take a deep breath in,

And a deep breath out,

Carrying the sense of gratitude with you as you move forward.
