Hello Beloveds,

I'm Rev Skip and welcome to Wellness as a Way of Life.

This is a four meditation series helping you to set intention for your wellness practice.

Today our meditation is number four and we're focusing on sustainability and self-care.

So if you're ready,

Let's begin.

This meditation can be done seated,

Standing,

Or lying on your back.

I invite you to get into a posture that will allow you to relax,

But to stay awake and aware.

If it feels right for you,

I invite you to go ahead and close your eyes.

And let's begin with some centering breaths.

Take a nice deep breath in through our nostrils.

And a deep exhale.

Let's do that again.

Take a nice deep breath in to center yourself.

And a big exhale.

And one more time.

Let's take a deep breath in through our nostrils.

Inhale.

Now hold the breath at the very top.

Feel the energy of the breath.

Feel the vibration that's moving through your body.

And take a nice slow exhale to release the breath.

And today we're focusing on self-care and sustainability.

But let's begin with our oath wellness.

I will meet my body right where I am.

I will love my body right where I am.

I will allow healing to begin now.

I am whole and complete from the start.

I will not judge myself nor accept judgments from others.

Take another breath and breathe in and feel your agreement that you've made with yourself.

And as we explore this journey of sustainability and self-care,

We begin with a contemplative question.

Our first question.

How can I make self-care a priority in my life to support a lasting wellness practice?

How can I make self-care a priority in my life to support a lasting wellness practice?

Here is your second contemplative question.

What daily or weekly practice can I implement to ensure I stay balanced and energized?

Let's ask that question again.

What daily or weekly practice can I implement to ensure I stay balanced and energized?

Here are affirmations for today.

And again,

I invite you to repeat them aloud or silently.

I prioritize self-care because it is essential to my well-being.

I prioritize self-care because it is essential to my well-being.

I deserve time and space to nourish my body,

Mind,

And spirit.

I deserve the time and space to nourish my mind,

Body,

And spirit.

I am building sustainable practices that support my long-term wellness.

I am committed to caring for myself and creating a balanced life.

I am committed to caring for myself and creating a balanced life.

Take a deep breath in.

And a big exhale.

Once again,

Take a deep breath in.

And a big exhale.

So this week we focus in on self-compassion.

We make an agreement to do one thing that will help you on your journey for sustainability.

Thank you so much for joining me on this meditation.

Remember,

Transformation is a choice.

You can choose today.

Namaste.
