Bring total stillness into your mind and body through conscious breathing and being present to the whole body. Then, expand this into an awareness of golden light washing away any tension. Feel yourself relaxing and getting in touch with who you really are.

This is a meditation to become aware of our bodies,

Our thoughts,

And just generally what the energy is that we're sitting in.

We're going to start with conscious breathing.

The out-breath is going to be twice as long as the in-breath.

This helps to clear the mind and slow down the busyness.

We're going to breathe in through our nose and breathe out through our nose.

So let's begin.

If I go too slowly or too fast,

Just adjust the pace to your breath and your breathing pattern.

Let's begin by breathing in two,

Three,

Four and breathing out two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Breathe in two,

Three,

Four.

Breathe out two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Breathe in two,

Three,

Four,

Breathe out two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

Breathe in,

Breathe out,

Breathe in,

And keep doing this at your own pace,

Find your own rhythm.

And gently let this go and feel your body,

Feel your skin,

Your muscles,

Or imagine that you feel your muscles.

If any of this is too hard just let it go,

It needs to be effortless.

Just gently place your awareness on your skin and on your muscles,

Don't overthink it.

Maybe take a moment to focus on the blood coursing through your body,

Your heart pumping,

Your lungs,

Your digestive system,

Your hormones,

And your skeleton,

The bones.

Feel your whole body.

And notice what happens when you place your awareness on your body,

In your body.

Most awareness is one of the best healing mechanisms that we have.

Now feel the air and the energy around you.

So expand your awareness out from the inside of your body now to just outside your body.

And notice the difference.

Don't get into any stories or fixing or judgments,

Just observe it,

It's interesting.

Now place your awareness on the earth supporting you.

Feel how you are totally safe right now.

There is nothing you need,

There's nothing to attend to,

It's fine to just be.

Enjoy this moment of absolute peace.

If your mind tries to distract you,

Gently come back to this moment.

Now see or imagine yourself bathing in golden light or energy.

Just cleansing away any stress,

Any tension from your body,

Your mind,

And your energy field.

Allow that to happen.

And it fills you with peace and joy.

It fills you with strength and a sense of excitement.

Feel yourself sitting in this energy.

Now gently bring your awareness back to your body and open your eyes when you're ready.
