Om Namasivaya,

Om Namasivaya,
Om Namasivaya.
Om Namasivaya,
Om Namasivaya.
Om Namasivaya,
Om Namasivaya.
Om Namasivaya,
My salutations to Lord Shiva.
Namaha,
Salutation,
Surrender,
Letting go.
Letting go the resistance towards the realities of life.
The life functions according to the laws created by each one.
I do not call all the shots.
I do not control those laws.
Very often I do not even understand those laws.
Meaning,
There may have been many experiences,
Many events,
Which I could not understand,
Which I thought were unfair.
I have had to face unfair,
Painful situations.
Many things did not go the way I wanted them to go.
Many of my desires were not satisfied.
In spite of my efforts,
Very often I could not get the desired result.
The life is full of such events when I have been disappointed,
I have been hurt,
I have been frustrated,
I have been resentful,
I have been angry.
Because things did not go the way I wanted them to go.
I resisted very often to these happenings in my life.
I resisted,
Sometimes resented,
Sometimes rejected,
Sometimes condemned.
As a result,
I have been carrying with me resentment,
Anger,
Frustration.
These kind of stresses are accumulated in my mind.
Because of the past,
The future also becomes a source of anxiety.
Because future is unpredictable,
I do not know if things will go the way I want them to go.
What if,
Or what if not,
These anxieties also remain in my mind?
These resentments and anger from the past and anxieties for the future is a big obstacle to my enjoying the peace of mind.
Even though peace or silence is my nature,
But I am not able to enjoy my own self because of the hurts and resentments of the past and anxieties for the future.
All of this is a result of not surrendering to the Lord.
Om Namah Shivaya.
I surrender to Lord Shiva.
I accept gracefully what I cannot change.
Namah,
Graceful acceptance of what was,
Of what is,
And of what will be.
Namah,
Graceful acceptance of the past,
Present,
And future.
Letting go of my resistance,
My resentment,
In recognition of the fact that what happens according to the laws of the Lord.
I do not control those laws,
And in many cases I do not even understand them.
Very often I cannot make out why things are the way they are.
These are the realities of life.
My knowledge is limited.
My power to change things is also limited.
And therefore I cannot expect to understand everything.
I cannot expect to change everything to suit me.
Namah,
A preparedness for what is.
Graceful acceptance of what is.
The past was also is at some time.
The future also will be what is at some time.
And therefore,
Namah,
Graceful acceptance of what is.
Pleasant or painful.
Success or failure.
Honor or dishonor.
Gain or loss.
Graceful acceptance of what is.
That includes friends and foes.
Those who love me,
Those who hate me.
Whatever it is,
Wherever it is,
However it is,
Without demanding any change,
I gracefully accept whatever is as manifestation of Ishvara.
In namah there is an appreciation of Ishvara.
Ishvara alone manifests as what is.
Ishvara manifests in various guise,
Various costumes.
Sometimes pleasant,
Sometimes painful.
Sometimes success,
Sometimes failure.
Sometimes gain,
Sometimes loss.
Sometimes friend,
Sometimes foe.
Sometimes loving,
Sometimes hating.
In all these different guises,
In all these different costumes,
It is Ishvara who manifests.
Namah,
Graceful acceptance,
Letting go of my resistance.
Then I am free.
In this manner,
When I give freedom to what is,
Then I am free to be what I am.
Then the outside world does not disturb the tranquility of my mind when I gracefully accept what is.
As a result of namah,
When the mind is free from resistance,
From resentment,
From complaint,
From blaming,
In namah there is no complaint.
In namah there is no blaming.
There is comfort with what is.
And then there is comfort with what I am.
And that is the most important.
To discover comfort with myself,
I need to be comfortable with the world,
Which is the manifestation of Ishvara,
Of Shiva.
Namah,
Everything is in order.
Whatever is,
Wherever it is,
However it is,
I may not know the reason,
I may accept in the trust that everything is in order.
In namah there is freedom.
There is tranquility.
There is comfort.
There is happiness.
The attitude of namah,
Letting go,
Graceful acceptance.
Then there is freedom.
There is comfort.
The mind becomes free from all the burden,
The burden which I have been carrying from the past.
The burden about the future,
Even the burden about the present.
In namah,
Letting go of all that burden.
When I chant,
Just listen without repeating.
Om Namah Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya.
Om Namah Shivaya.
In namah,
Letting go,
There is a total relief from all the burden.
There is freedom.
There is comfort.
There is happiness.
I am comfortable with myself.
I am happy with myself.
Happy with what is.
