Let's begin to settle into just a seat that's comfortable if your feet are on the floor or maybe you're cross-legged,

Wherever you are.

Rocking back on your sitting bones slightly so you feel the weight evenly distributed across your sitting bones and then sitting up nice and tall through the spine,

Lifting up through the chest,

The crown of the head.

Just close the eyes and take a few moments to move the breath into the body.

Just taking a moment to notice your breath.

We begin to relax the muscles around the edges of the body.

Let the eyes soften back into their sockets and release your tongue from the roof of your mouth.

Let's take a deep inhale through the nose,

Fill the belly all the way up with air,

Holding at the top.

One,

Two,

Three,

Open your mouth,

Exhale.

We'll do that two more times,

Deep inhale and hold,

Exhale,

Let it out.

Final one,

Deepest breath in,

Hold and let it go.

And let your breath return to natural.

Taking your breath,

Taking your awareness here and beginning to lean into the heart space.

Right behind the center of your breastbone,

Sort of feel your awareness draw back towards the center of your chest,

Towards the center of your body.

Just begin to notice.

Notice what emotions,

What sensations might be lingering there.

Just become aware of the energy in this space.

Not only how does the energy feel in this space,

But how does that energy translate into the rest of your body?

It's okay if no real answers are coming to mind,

This is more of a feeling exercise.

Just give your mind and your breath a sense of spaciousness and allow yourself to simply feel into the heart and into the body.

Meeting ourselves where we are through each and every breath.

Now looking forward here together into our brand new year.

Asking ourselves from this space of feeling in the center of the heart.

Asking yourself how do I want to feel in this new year?

Again just let the answers float to the surface here.

How do I want to feel in this new year?

Can you visualize,

Can you feel in the body these emotions that you're prioritizing for yourself?

When you think of these emotions,

How you would like to feel,

What do they feel like in the body?

Now visualizing yourself living within these emotions.

Creating a vision of maybe what your day to day life looks like when you are living centered within these emotions.

When you are aligned with your truest self.

What do those days look like?

Knowing that with all of these we take a breath of surrender.

Trusting that whatever comes our way on our path was meant to be.

Begin to let your awareness spread out from the heart and back into the corner edges of the body.

Through the fingertips,

Into the arms,

Down the legs,

Back up through the crown of the head sitting up nice and tall through the spine.

Take another deep inhale through the nose.

Fill the whole belly up with air and hold at the top.

Two,

Three,

Exhale let it go.

So it is and so it is and so it is.

May we all live from this space of emotional connection and heart centeredness together as we close out one chapter and open anew together.

Begin to bring some soft wiggles into the shoulders,

The arms,

The legs,

The neck,

The chest.

As you are ready,

Begin to open up the eyes.

Coming back into the room around you.

Namaste.

Namaste.
