Transcript

You have arrived.

Take this moment now to take two more deep breaths with the mouth open or closed.

Inhale.

Sigh it out.

One more like this.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Sigh it out.

Letting go of anything else in your mind,

Anything else that may be preoccupying you.

And just feel the body now.

Feel the feet.

Feel the sensations of the hands.

Maybe they're in your lap.

Soften the shoulders.

Soften the eyes.

Soften the mouth.

Soften the head and the scalp.

Relax those shoulders again.

Breathe.

Notice your chest as you breathe.

Just melt into this space before we begin our meditation.

Noticing sensations around you,

The coolness of the air or how hot it may be.

Maybe any sounds around you.

And just again soften your eyeballs.

Slow down that heart rate.

Relax the chest.

Soften any tension.

Bringing awareness to the body.

The sense of calm that is in all of us deep down.

The calm around us in nature,

In the air,

Just waiting for us to become more one with this feeling.

Today we'll be exploring the concept of change.

Sometimes change can feel intimidating.

However,

It just is the beginning of something new.

Usually something good and exciting that we choose for ourself.

Take another deep breath in.

Maybe you're experiencing change right now.

Just know that this too shall pass.

This too is only temporary.

These feelings you may be feeling.

Acknowledge that change.

The presence in your life.

Maybe you're actively seeking change to remove any stagnancy you might be feeling.

And know that something unexpected is coming your way.

Change is knocking on your door to bring something good into your life.

You've wanted this for a long time.

And breathe in again.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Drop the shoulders.

Allow yourself to remember that change is an essential part of growth.

Just like the seasons change,

So do we.

Just like the leaves fall from trees to become anew,

So do we.

Remember all the changes you've already experienced.

Think of how you've adapted,

How you've learned,

And become more resilient.

And sometimes in the middle of these hard times that change brings,

It can seem like the hardest thing ever.

But you come out the other side and just are so proud of yourself for what you've achieved and accomplished.

Remember those times when you were so uncertain and afraid,

But with each small step you found your way.

And now you're in a brighter and better place because of these choices.

They may have not made sense to anyone else,

But you knew in your heart that it was meant for you.

And you were brave.

And you look back on your strength and you're amazed at what you've accomplished.

Breathe in again.

Remember that person.

You may not remember who that person is,

But they're within you.

You've arrived at this place in time.

You've changed along the way.

Be proud of who you are.

Let go of any resistance you may have towards change.

Realize any negative loops that may be circling through your head.

And just remember that those positive things have come along because of the change you have had enough strength to face.

It you have had enough strength to face.

It may be so little like going to the gym again,

But just remember that you did that.

You can do it again.

So I want you to imagine now with your breath,

As you relax your face again,

Picture any of these fears,

Hesitations,

Or doubts.

Just picture them melting away.

With each breath,

You could also just picture them exhaling away,

Fading away like the wind falling away even further away from you.

And now with the next breath,

I want you to embrace the unknown outside of your comfort zone.

Change always begins outside of that comfort zone.

For some of us,

It's easy to embrace change.

In other times of our life,

It's just not so easy.

So remember how capable you are,

That you have the tools within you to thrive.

Every moment of uncertainty,

There is an opportunity of growth to become the person you've been dreaming of being.

Sometimes,

We're in the way of our growth,

Of our success.

We're so scared of change that we almost want it to not happen.

So remember that you deserve this.

You've worked so hard to be where you are right now.

So with each breath,

You're becoming more open to transformation.

In with the breath.

Deep inhale.

Exhale.

Two more like that.

Inhale.

Out with the breath.

In with the breath.

Out with the breath.

Out with the breath.

Welcome the change.

Welcome the change,

Knowing that it's bringing new opportunities,

New people into your life.

And just know that something bigger and better is on its way to you.

As you sit here in this knowing,

Start to focus on that heart of yours and radiate warmth from this space.

Such a beautiful place to send out love and trust into the universe.

Love for the people around you.

Sometimes when we doubt ourselves,

If we can send out that love around us,

It can start to radiate.

And we remember that it's all going to be okay.

So let's keep picturing a radiating love or warmth or color extending out from our heart now.

And as this radiates outward,

Going out from our heart,

Out into the room,

Extending out into the rest of your house,

Your apartment and into your neighborhood.

Feel gratitude for the people in your life and the changes that you have already made to shape you.

And just remember that more blessings are on the way to you.

You're not alone in this journey.

The universe is always guiding you,

Offering you more lessons and experiences for your growth.

Now send that radiation of love or color back to your heart.

Place your hands on your heart and notice your breath now.

Send that love to yourself.

Feel your strength,

Your resilience,

And just feel a sense of peace here within yourself.

As you exhale now,

Know that you're exactly where you need to be to move to the next little step of change.

With every new change,

You become more resilient and more authentic to the world.

To the person you are becoming.

Let the eyes flutter open now.

Drop the hands.

And if you'd like,

You can take a big stretch.

Extend outward.

Take the hands overhead and bring the hands into namaste,

Giving gratitude for the day ahead.
