Welcome,

Thank you for joining me in this moment,

To pause,

To breathe,

To open your heart and focus on gratitude.

Gently close your eyes if that feels comfortable,

Allow your shoulders to soften,

Let yourself arrive right here,

Right now.

Notice your breath,

The inhale and the exhale.

Let each breath anchor you,

Like waves returning to shore.

Now,

Bring to mind one thing you're grateful for today.

It might be something small,

A smile,

Warm sunlight,

Or simply this quiet moment.

Feel that sense of gratitude,

Let it fill you gently from within.

Now notice your body,

Can you feel grateful for your breath,

For the strength in your legs,

The beating of your heart,

The fact that you are here,

In this moment.

Now allow that gratitude to widen,

Outward,

Towards someone in your life.

Feel thankful for their presence,

Their love,

Or a shared moment.

Notice how your body feels when you rest in appreciation.

As we close,

Take one final deep breath in,

And let it go slowly.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

Gently open your eyes,

And become aware of your surroundings again.

I hope you can carry this gratitude with you,

With whatever comes in your day.
