I hope you see this in some way or to some degree that what we are as human beings,
Where we come from,
And I know it's easy to get lost in the humanness and it seems like that's everything,
But really there's something about the truth of what we are that is so incredibly profound and sacred.
A beautiful landscape for love to flow.
And the beautiful thing about love is that it has no form,
Which means it is infinite in the ways that it can be expressed.
If anything,
That is the human play aspect.
For what you are as a physical being that's deeply connected to the non-physical,
You get to create something that gives birth to the non-physical.
And the thing that you create is 100% unique to you,
Will never ever be created again.
It's like your little offering back to God,
Your instrument that sings a song of love,
That points people back in a direction of remembering what they really are.
It's funny because in the play of spiritual awakening,
There's this common theme that happens where we have some spiritual experience which is likened to sitting on the cloud in heaven.
Seeing how beautiful everything is.
And then very quickly you see how much you don't want to go back.
You don't want to go back to your human life.
And we assume that what has been discovered,
Which we might call an internal state of being,
Is the ultimate prize.
And so we engage what we call a spiritual quest of getting back there and somehow never losing that feeling again.
We put our life on pause.
When really that experience of seeing the depth of what's real and true isn't any form of finality,
It's just a window of opportunity to see what's really there and then go home or go back and complete your mission.
You ever notice this?
No matter what spiritual high you might have,
No matter how many mushrooms you eat,
You always come back to your human experience.
Come back to your relationships.
Come back to the frustrations,
The inconsistencies,
The unknown.
Almost as if you're here to have a human experience.
It's kind of like going on vacation.
You think,
Man,
Why can't this just be permanent?
Then you got to go back to your human life.
Sometimes that vacation helps you chill out a little bit,
Puts things back into perspective.
Remember what it's all about.
Then go back to your mission.
Being what you're here to be.
That vessel for love to flow.
Is that not what we're doing here in this group?
Every once in a while having a mini vacation from the play of being human,
Remembering what's true.
It's not a means to escape your humanness.
It's a means to take a breath and remember the mission.
Knowing full well that you're going back.
You know,
In our human lives,
No matter how busy you are,
No matter how much you work,
There's such wisdom in taking a break.
Right?
In taking a break.
Whether that's a vacation or not working for a day or whatever.
In the spiritual aspect of yourself,
It's the same.
Give yourself time like this to take a break.
Remember.
And just like when you go on vacation,
You're going to have space to imagine all sorts of beautiful things,
What you're going to do when you get back.
And you get back and it all seems to go to shit.
Not much like you planned.
But then you remember,
Oh yeah,
This is life.
It's not a straight line.
And somehow my fantasies are full of straight lines.
I hope you see this in some way or to some degree that what we are as human beings,
Where we come from,
Is so incredibly sacred.
And I know it's easy to get lost in the humanness and it seems like that's everything.
But really,
There's something about the truth of what we are that is so incredibly profound and sacred.
Which gives immense meaning and purpose to you being here and being in the you might be in.
That mess is simply a beautiful landscape for love to flow.
Exactly where you are,
Where you are.
It is ideal.
Right?
Because if love is going to expand,
If love is going to flow,
Just like light expanding and flowing,
It flows into dark places.
And so for you to come back to your human experience on a mission for love to expand,
There better be a lot of shit to be afraid of.
It needs somewhere to flow.
So maybe it is,
But I'm going to say maybe,
It's also incredibly perfectly placed as it is.
And we can take this time to remember and just say thank you.
And in the best way that we can,
Just keep showing up.
