Part 6 Third Eye Chakra Meditation Welcome to the sixth edition of the eight part meditation series on balancing and clearing your chakras.
The purpose of this series is to clear blockages in each individual chakra,
Releasing disharmony and restoring the natural flow of your energetic body.
The sixth part of this series is a third eye chakra meditation.
The third eye chakra is located in the center of your forehead.
This energy center is responsible for intuition,
Imagination,
Concentration,
And spiritual perception.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
If you are sitting,
Place your hands on your lap,
Palms facing up,
And straighten your back.
If you are lying down,
Place your arms at either side with your palms facing up.
Now we will place our attention to our breath.
These breaths will be a slow and deep four second count inhale through the nose,
A four second pause at the top of your breath,
And a four second exhale through the mouth.
Let us begin now.
Take a slow deep inhale through the nose,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And at the top of your breath,
Hold it for four seconds,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And slowly exhale through the mouth,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Again,
Take a slow deep inhale through the nose,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And at the top of your breath,
Hold it for four seconds,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And slowly exhale through the mouth,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Releasing,
Relaxing.
Very good.
Again,
Take a slow deep inhale through the nose,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And at the top of your breath,
Hold it for four seconds,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And slowly exhale through the mouth,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Now continue to do this process a few more times.
One,
Two,
Three,
Four.
Very good.
Going to do it one last time when you're ready.
Take a slow deep inhale through the nose,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Pause at the top of your breath,
Two,
Three,
Four,
And exhale through the mouth,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Releasing,
Relaxing.
Now return to your normal natural breathing.
As you return to your natural breath,
Continue to relax the body,
Releasing any stress or tension through your breath.
Let it all go.
In this moment,
There is only now.
No thought of what to do or what has to be done.
No thoughts about the future.
No thoughts about the past.
No thoughts on what you could have done or should have done.
Here in the now,
We let all of that go.
There is only the present moment,
The here and now.
And in this moment,
We are releasing,
We are relaxing,
We are letting go and following our breath.
Now bring your attention and your awareness to the center of your forehead.
This is where your third eye chakra is located.
The color that represents the third eye chakra is indigo.
The third eye chakra represents intuition,
Imagination,
Concentration,
And spiritual perception.
When this chakra is off balance,
You will most likely experience a lack of insight,
A lack of awareness,
Easily distracted,
Or lack a sense of deeper meaning to life.
In order to balance the chakra,
We will focus our attention on this indigo spinning wheel.
Envision this indigo wheel spinning easily with no restriction.
Envision this wheel growing brighter,
Growing larger,
And moving faster.
Feel the wheel's vibration increasing.
And hear the wheel's hum increase.
All unwanted stagnant energy is now being released from your third eye chakra.
It feels more clear,
Lighter,
And smoother as the indigo glow and vibration continues to increase.
Envision the indigo glow continuing to expand its vibration throughout your energetic body.
Your third eye chakra is now balanced and cleared.
You are able to perceive things more clearly.
Ideas flow more effortlessly.
You are able to concentrate and focus easier.
You have a sense that life has deeper meaning.
Now repeat after me and affirm,
I trust my intuition.
Ideas flow easily from my imagination.
I am aware.
I am focused.
There is more to life than meets the eye.
And I am open to understanding a deeper meaning to life.
Now as we did in the beginning,
Take a slow deep breath for 4 seconds,
2,
3,
4.
Hold it for 4 seconds,
2,
3,
4.
And exhale for 4 seconds,
2,
3,
4.
Release and relax.
Bring your attention back to where you are sitting or lying down.
Focus on your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
You may open your eyes slowly,
Returning to your conscious awareness,
Relaxed,
Balanced and confident.
