Welcome to Insight Timer.
Let us find a comfortable seated position with a nice tall spine.
Closing the eyes,
Taking a moment to just ground and center into the space into your body.
Taking a deep inhale together,
Through the mouth exhale bringing our palms together and rubbing them at the heart center.
Slowing the rub down,
Press the hands in prayer at the sternum.
Inhale deeply to tune in.
And inhale deeply.
And exhale.
Bringing our hands into the mudra and are lacing the fingers with the palms facing up,
Fingers pointed up at a gentle 60 degree angle,
The thumbs are straight out.
Holding this introverted Venus lock at the solar plexus.
Eyes are one tenth open,
Focused at the tip of the nose.
With this meditation we'll begin to chant the Guru Gayatri mantra.
Govinday Mukhanday uddharae apare,
Hariang kariang nirname akame.
Sitting tall,
Chanting from your heart,
Allowing the sound current to roll off your tongue,
Even if you're not sure about the pronunciation.
Just allow the sound to roll.
It will eventually find the right course.
Utilizing your voice to awaken your heart.
Our mantra's meaning is calling on all the aspects of the creative force that created us.
The sustainer,
The liberator,
The enlightener,
The infinite,
The destroyer,
The creator,
The nameless,
The desireless.
Let us break through the deep subconscious mind to heal,
To resolve that which is holding us back.
Use your voice.
Trust your voice.
Embody this mantra.
Allow it to resonate in your cells.
Mantra is one of the languages of the soul.
Going beyond intellect into the state of experience.
Govinday Mukhanday uddharae apare,
Hariang kariang nirname akame.
Govinday Mukhanday uddharae apare,
Hariang kariang nirname akame.
Govinday Mukhanday uddharae apare,
Hariang kariang nirname akame.
Remembering to keep lifting through the heart,
Lifting through the spine,
Relaxing the shoulders.
Coming on with the sound current as you chant.
Govinday Mukhanday uddharae apare,
Hariang kariang nirname akame.
Many of us,
Certain aspects of creation,
Lay dormant while other aspects may dominate.
Let us awaken all the facets of ourself so that we're not limited.
Let us awaken all the facets of ourself so that we can live with all of our gifts and all of our talent and all of our potential.
Govinday Mukhanday uddharae apare,
Hariang kariang nirname akame.
11 minutes to relieve the pressure,
To relieve the stress,
The buildup of life,
To come back to neutral,
To come back to your true self.
Calm and steady self,
Self that is fully capable of handling this magnificent and sometimes challenging life.
There's that saying that creator only gives you what you can handle.
So really believe that whatever is on your plate is designed for you to grow,
To expand,
Not to destroy you,
Not to crush you.
Creative force loves you,
You are a part of it.
Why would it want to destroy you?
It wants to give you opportunity to rise up,
To rise like the phoenix from the ashes.
So have that confidence in your voice,
In your posture,
In your chanting that you are rising to the occasion.
Know your brightness.
We allow ourselves to shine,
We give others permission to do the same.
Allow yourself the confidence to be strong,
To be lit,
To be bright.
So last three minutes.
So let this mantra cut through old thoughts,
Old memories and let it be like a warrior within you,
Just slicing away all that is not serving you.
So last minute,
Last couple rounds of the mantra,
Allowing it to flow from your heart,
From your navel,
From every cell of your being,
Allow it all to pour into this final moment.
So and inhale deeply,
Holding that breath,
Holding the posture,
Just being in pause here,
Feeling the vibration within you,
Noticing the state of your being,
The state of your mind,
And powerfully through the mouth,
Exhale,
Relaxing the posture,
Just sitting for a moment in the silence,
Experiencing the experience.
Let us bring our palms together in prayer in front of the heart to close our practice with a long Sat Nam,
Inhale deeply.
Sat Nam.
Thank you,
Breath of life,
Breath of life,
Breath of life,
For this breath and for this life.
Sat Nam.
