I'll call to mind any moments that have filled you with a sense of gratitude and gratefulness.
Truly filled your whole body.
Something someone's done for you,
Or an act you've done for someone else.
And if at this moment it's difficult to find something that fills us with this sense,
Then simply use this moment of taking a small amount of time for yourself to practice self-love,
Self-care,
And just inhale from this feeling,
From this moment,
And fill yourself with that gratitude,
That sensation,
And release the breath.
Allow this sensation,
This feeling,
To remain with you as you breathe right now,
And know that no matter what situation you're in,
You can always bring this sensation,
This feeling of gratefulness back into your body with a simple thought,
In an inhalation,
And practicing this act of gratitude is truly the most beautiful form of meditation when we are faced with adversities and challenges.
And we repeat this affirmation to ourselves silently,
Or out loud,
Or simply listen.
Every day,
I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
Every day,
I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
Every day,
I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
Every day,
I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
Every day,
I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
Every day,
I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
Every day,
I am becoming more grateful for all that I have.
Continue repeating this affirmation to yourself silently for the next couple minutes.
Release the affirmation,
And simply know that you can come back to that,
The breath,
The feeling,
The affirmation,
Anytime,
Anywhere.
Simply observe in the body any feelings,
Or sensations,
Or emotions that are arising,
And acknowledge them with a breath,
With an inhale,
And then as we exhale,
We send that breath back to that place,
That space,
Sending compassion and love to ourselves.
