Alïta Alison Laurén

Alïta Alison Laurén is a native Angelina with a great love for the oceanic coasts. Laurén is also the author of several poetry books including "Mused Maenad" along with works of nonfiction which include "Cultural Psychology of Women's Sexuality: The Priestess, Patriarchy & The Prostitute," along with "Patriarchy: Defined For Dum-Dums." An international ritual performance artist and experimental filmmaker, she is an enthusiast for transmuting darkness into creative art. Her films have been featured in multiple film festivals and her most recent 'Priestess; a Trafficked Archetype' recently premiered at The International Conference on Trafficking & Social Justice. She vehemently contends with the psychic split in human consciousness, yearning to see a theology that includes Earth, the body, and dreams in its Father God cosmology.
