Mongolian Meditation Music For Presence, Grounding, & Peace
Settle into a deep Kargyraa (Mongolian throat-singing) chant—a low, overtone-rich vocal and musical texture traditionally used for contemplative, earth-rooted meditation. This session offers a steady, unhurried drone to support grounding, inner quiet, and meditative focus. This track uses Kargyraa, the deeper-register style of Tuvan throat singing. Kargyraa is known for its low, nearly growling tone and is related to the Sardinian bass singing found in Canto a Tenore choirs, as well as to Tibetan Buddhist chant. The sound is produced by using both the vocal folds and the vestibular folds (often called the “false vocal cords”) at the same time, creating two linked sound sources. Tuned to 432 Hz, this frequency is believed to naturally harmonize the body and mind, promoting inner peace, emotional balance, and a deeper sense of calm during meditation or sleep.
