Hello and welcome!
My name is Bailey and I am a nurse practitioner turned Reiki master teacher and sound healer and I am so happy that you are here with me today.
I help people who are navigating stress,
Anxiety,
Or overwhelm or who are perhaps on a physical healing journey find peace and balance and healing through Reiki and sound healing practices.
In our session today I am going to be guiding you through a 10 minute yoga nidra practice as well as a full body distance Reiki session and you will be listening to my Theta Frequency healing music and this session is really to help relax and reset your nervous system.
So if you want to go ahead and find a comfortable place to relax and receive,
Perhaps your bed or your sofa,
Somewhere where you can really settle in and get cozy.
Just taking a few moments to really get yourself and your space set up.
Perhaps putting a pillow under your knees or having an eye mask to bring your awareness in.
Just letting yourself get settled.
And once you find your comfortable place,
Bringing your awareness to your breath,
Inhaling and exhaling all of the air out and gently exhaling all of the air out.
And if you haven't already done so,
I invite you to gently close down your eyes as I begin sending you distance Reiki now.
There's nothing you need to do.
Just simply follow along as I guide you through this practice today.
We will begin by inviting a sankalpa,
A heartfelt intention.
A simple phrase that supports your healing.
You might choose something like,
It is okay to rest.
Peace lives within me.
Let the words come naturally and gently repeat them in your mind as if planting a seed into soft,
Fertile soil.
There's no need to force or analyze.
Just let it settle into your heart space.
Awareness to the right hand thumb,
Second finger,
Now to the left hand thumb,
Forearm.
Now awareness moves to the top of the head,
Cheeks,
The tongue resting in the mouth,
Heart space,
Abdomen.
Feel the entire body as one being,
Supported,
Safe to let go.
Now gently shift your awareness to the breath,
Letting it flow in through and softly out through,
Enters the body,
Tension melts,
Invites a little more calm.
Now slowly begin to bring your awareness back.
Feel the ground beneath you,
The sounds in the room.
Begin to gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Take your time.
Maybe roll to one side and pause there.
When you feel ready,
Slowly bring yourself to a seated position,
Letting your eyes softly open,
Coming back into the space around you.
Whole and connected with your true self.
