Hi,

Frankie here,

Welcome to this inner child meditation.

Find yourself in a comfortable space where you can fully relax and let go.

Allow your breath to be your guide as you open your heart to the child within.

This inner child meditation is part of a powerful series to help you reconnect and heal your inner child.

Each meditation in this series focuses on different aspects of inner child work.

Identifying and healing emotional wounds,

Rediscovering joy,

Offering forgiveness and reclaiming your inner strength.

By nurturing your inner child,

You create a foundation of self-love,

Confidence and emotional freedom.

If or when emotions come up,

Just let them flow,

Only yourself and your inner child.

You can also push pause or come back tomorrow if you feel overwhelmed.

Take a moment now to settle in,

Knowing that this is a safe place for you to heal and grow.

Let's begin.

Take a deep breath in and slowly release it out.

Another deep breath in and let it go.

Now allow your breath to settle into a natural rhythm of slow deep breaths in and out of your body.

Today we are deep diving into healing from being compared to others.

You are not alone.

Many people carry the weight of comparison from childhood well into adulthood.

Just allow your body to soften with each breath.

Let your shoulders relax and drop.

Feel your jaw releasing.

Let the muscles on your face soften.

Feel your hands resting comfortably at your side.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming lighter.

Feel your chest opening and your body softening.

There is nothing you need to do right now except breathe and receive.

Bring your awareness to your heart center.

Feel the soft rise and fall of your chest as you breathe.

Begin to imagine a soft golden light forming in your heart.

Warm,

Radiant and calm.

This light is the energy of unconditional love.

It is the light of wholeness and acceptance.

With each inhale,

Feel this golden light growing brighter.

With each exhale,

Feel it expanding through your body.

Flowing down to your arms,

Through your hands and all the way down to your feet.

And then up again through your whole body to the crown of your head.

Let this light fill you with a sense of peace and ease.

Now begin to visualize your inner child standing before you.

See them as clearly as possible.

Perhaps they are five or six years old.

Maybe a little older or a little younger.

Just notice how they look.

Notice the expression on their face.

Do they look uncertain or guarded?

Do they look like they are trying to be something they are not?

Notice if they seem hesitant or unsure.

You go towards them and kneel down so you are at eye level with your inner child.

Gently take their hand and say,

I see you.

You are safe with me.

You don't have to prove anything.

Just notice how they respond.

They may hesitate.

They may look away.

Or they may reach towards you.

However they respond is perfect.

Now softly ask your inner child,

When did you start feeling like you weren't enough?

When did you feel like you had to measure up to somebody else?

Let the answers arise naturally.

You may remember a moment when you were compared to a sibling or a classmate.

You may feel the weight of trying to live up to somebody else's expectations.

You may feel the sadness or frustration of never feeling like you were good enough.

Whatever surfaces for you,

Allow it to be seen.

Hold space for it.

If you feel sadness,

Just let it arise.

If you feel frustration,

Let it move through you.

You are safe now.

Now gently say to your inner child,

I'm sorry you were made to feel like you weren't enough.

I'm sorry you were compared to others.

You are enough exactly as you are.

You are not meant to be like anyone else.

See the golden light in your heart growing brighter.

Feel that light flowing towards your inner child.

Wrapping them in warmth and comfort.

Feel their shoulders softening.

See the tension beginning to melt from their face.

Now gently say,

You are unique.

You are enough exactly as you are.

You don't need to be like anyone else.

You are perfect as you are.

Feel your inner child beginning to breathe more easily.

See their eyes softening.

See the light returning to their face.

Now imagine standing up holding their hand.

Guiding them to a mirror.

Let them see their reflection.

Let them see their own uniqueness.

Their own light.

Say to them,

You don't need to be like anyone else.

You have your own gifts.

Your own beauty.

Your own strength.

You are enough.

You are loved exactly as you are.

Now imagine your inner child smiling.

Standing a little taller.

Seeing their own worth.

See the golden light reflecting back at them in the mirror.

See them realising they are perfect just as they are.

Now gathering your inner child into your arms.

Hold them close.

Let them feel the steady beat of your heart.

And whisper to them.

You are not here to compete.

You are not here to measure up.

You are here to be yourself.

You are enough.

Just as you are.

Now gently release this embrace.

See your inner child standing before you.

Glowing with confidence and light.

And let them know,

You are unique.

You are whole.

You are enough.

Now see your inner child beginning to merge with the golden light.

Not disappearing,

But becoming part of you.

Feel their strength.

Their confidence.

Their wholeness returning into your body.

Feel it anchoring into your heart.

Take one more deep breath in.

And slowly release it out.

Feel the peace of knowing that you are enough.

Feel the strength of knowing you don't need to compare yourself to anyone else.

You are whole.

You are enough.

When you are ready,

Gently begin to bring your awareness back into your body.

Feel the surface beneath you.

Feel the softness of your breath moving through your body.

Wiggle your fingers and toes.

Feel the warmth of your hands and feet.

And when you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Sit with the feeling of strength and self-acceptance.

Know that you are not here to measure up to anyone else.

You are already enough.

You are whole.

You are loved.

You don't need to compete.

You are already enough.

Thank you so much for joining me on this journey today.

I wish you blessings in your life.

Namaste.
