Welcome,
Dear soul,
To the art of self-love.
Begin by finding your comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down,
Closing your eyes softly,
And take a slow,
Deep breath in and out.
Feel yourself arriving here in this very moment.
With each breath,
Let go of what you have carried today.
Let go of the need to perform,
To be approved of,
To be anything other than what you are right now.
Feel your body soften.
Feel your heart begin to open.
Life brings unexpected challenges,
Moments where we sway between being the lover and the beloved,
The giver and the one who longs to receive.
And there are also moments of being alone,
Times where silence feels heavy,
Or where the absence of another is deeply felt.
Imagine yourself quietly by the edge of a still lake now.
The water is calm,
Reflecting the soft glow of the moon and the stars above.
The sky stretches wide and infinite,
And each star shimmers across the surface of the water,
Like a reminder that you are never truly alone.
Breathe in the cool night air.
Feel the steady ground beneath you.
Notice how nature holds you,
How the silence is alive with presence.
In these moments of stillness,
Notice that being alone is not emptiness.
It is spaciousness.
It is an opening to rest in your own belonging,
To listen deeply,
To befriend your own heart.
Notice within you,
If there are parts of you that have felt unworthy,
Unseen,
Or incomplete.
See them now as tender figures,
Like small children who have wandered too long without love.
Invite them into this quiet space with you.
Imagine gathering them close,
Holding them in your arms,
Whispering softly,
You belong,
You are loved,
You are enough.
Here in the sacred company of your own heart,
Solitude becomes a gift,
An invitation into deeper self-love.
I invite you now,
With two or three fingers,
To begin gently tapping your heart space.
As you breathe gently,
Allow yourself to feel.
Repeat,
I am here,
I am whole,
I belong to myself.
Repeat these words silently or aloud,
Letting them become your anchor within.
I am enough,
I am worthy of love,
I am my own beloved.
Now release the tapping,
Take a deep breath in,
And release it out.
Bring to mind now a place within yourself that still carries judgment,
Blame,
Or regret.
Imagine now you are holding these feelings in your hands,
As if they were small stones you have been carrying for too long.
Walk slowly to the lake's edge,
With tenderness release each of these stones into the water,
Watching as they sink beneath the surface,
Rippling out,
Dissolving into stillness.
Notice that the lake accepts them all without any questions.
As you witness this release,
Feel compassion wrapping around every part of you,
Each part that has long carried burdens.
Feel forgiveness flowing through you,
Like a soft golden light that touches every corner of your being.
Whisper inwardly,
I forgive myself,
I release the past,
I am free to love myself fully.
Let your breath now carry healing golden light into the spaces within you,
All the spaces that need it most,
Receiving this golden light,
A gift from you to you.
Feel in your body now the quiet strength that arises when you meet yourself fully with love.
Notice the warmth in your heart,
Notice the sense of belonging that comes simply from being alive,
From being human.
The invitation now is to wrap your arms around yourself,
Giving yourself a big hug,
Take a few breaths here,
You are whole,
You are loved,
You are complete.
When you are ready,
Bring your awareness back into the room,
Carrying this self-love with you into the rest of your day.
Remember,
Self-love is not something you need to earn,
It's your natural state of being.
Every breath is an opportunity to return to yourself,
To choose love again,
Again and again.
Blessings to you,
Dear soul,
On your journey.
Namaste.
