Good morning,

My name is Ellen and I'm going to guide you on this short morning meditation.

First of all,

I want to invite you to gently bring your awareness to your body.

Notice the posture that you are sitting or lying in.

Feel the contact with the bed or the chair.

How does your body feel?

Is it rested or is it maybe still tired or sleepy?

Just gently notice your body.

There is no need to change anything,

Just become aware.

Then start to feel the gentle movement of the breath.

Feel how the air flows in and out of your nostrils.

Feel the rising and falling of your chest and your belly.

Allow the breath to just flow as it does.

There is no need to change it or to have an opinion about it.

All you need to do is feel the breath.

Can you connect your breath with your body?

And send your energizing in-breath to body parts that may feel tense or tired.

And also allow the relaxing effects of the out-breath.

There may be moments that you notice that your mind wanders off and thoughts take you away.

In any moment,

You can just friendly and clearly invite your attention to come back to your breath.

Unplug from the thoughts and come back to your body.

Allow your being to be peaceful and calm.

There is nothing you need to do,

There is nowhere you need to get.

These moments are for you.

Moments to simply be and start this day in a calm and peaceful way.

Connect to a more quiet and calm space within you.

Connect to your inner peace and trust that this day will unfold in its own perfect and unique way.

Allow yourself to be at ease and enjoy waking up gently.

Notice the flow of your breath,

One breath at a time.

No need to do anything more than that.

Feel the sensations that come with the in-breath.

The air that flows into your nostrils and into your lungs.

Feel how the in-breath changes into an out-breath.

And at the end of the out-breath there is a moment of silence.

From there a new in-breath starts taking place,

All by itself.

You don't need to do anything for that.

Just allow the breath to flow.

This is the start of a new day and anything is possible.

A day full of moments to be present and joyful.

A day full of activities that can be done with calmness and ease.

A day full of interactions that can be loving and kind.

Feel what you need to live this day in a balanced and mindful way.

Allowing it to flow in its own natural and unique way.

Feeling your body and your breath.

You can maybe place a hand on your heart.

Just take a moment to thank yourself for starting this day in this peaceful and kind way.

By doing this meditation you dedicated time to you and your well-being.

I wish you a beautiful day.
