Welcome to this morning meditation,
Where we're going to awaken to gratitude,
Wholeness,
And clarity.
Find a comfortable position,
Either seated or still lying down in bed,
And let your eyes gently close.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs completely.
Hold that breath for a moment,
And then slowly exhale through your mouth,
Allowing any tension to release from your body.
Take another deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your lungs.
Hold and then slowly exhale.
Allow your body to soften with each breath that you take.
Become aware of the surface beneath you supporting your body,
And imagine roots extending from your feet or from your seat,
Extending deep,
Deep down into the earth.
With each breath,
Every inhale you take,
Allow yourself to feel more grounded and connected to the nurturing,
Supportive energy of Mother Earth.
Now,
Place one hand over your heart and the other on your abdomen,
And as you continue to gently inhale and exhale,
Tune into the rhythm of your breath.
Just notice the rise and fall of your chest and of your belly,
And with each inhale,
Imagine yourself drawing in peace and calm.
With each exhale,
Release any tightness,
Tension,
Lingering stress,
Or distractions.
Bringing your awareness to your physical body,
We will start at the top of your head and gently scan down throughout your entire body,
Just noticing any sensations,
Warmth,
Coolness,
Tension or relaxation in all the different parts of your body,
And acknowledge each sensation that you're noticing without judgment,
Simply observing,
And as you move down through each part of your body,
Give yourself silent gratitude for each area,
For your eyes that see,
Your ears that hear,
Your mouth that speaks,
Your heart that beats,
For your hands that touch and hold and feel,
For your abdomen,
Your legs,
Your feet,
Your skin,
Your blood vessels.
Just give thanks and feel the appreciation for this remarkable body,
This vessel that carries you through your life,
That is your constant companion.
Bring your attention to the present moment,
Letting go of any thoughts about the past or the future,
Just focused on the here and now,
And you may find your mind wandering,
And as it does,
Just gently guide it back to your breath,
Your gentle,
Slow inhale and exhale into the sensations in your body,
To the sounds around you.
Embrace each moment with full awareness and acceptance,
And now envision yourself standing at the edge of a tranquil forest as the first light of dawn breaks out over the horizon.
You look ahead,
And the gorgeous sky is painted in hues of soft pink,
Lavender,
And gold,
And imagine yourself feeling the warmth of the sun's rays gently kissing your skin,
Filling you with a sense of renewal and possibility,
And as the sun rises higher,
Its golden light bathing the landscape,
Illuminating the vibrant colors of the forest and the sparkling dew on the leaves.
Just bask in the beauty of Mother Nature,
And with each slow,
Deep breath,
Absorb this radiant energy,
Allowing it to fill you with warmth,
Clarity,
And a deep sense of gratitude for all that is.
Imagine a beam of pure white light descending from the heavens,
Entering through the crown of your head and filling your entire being.
This light represents your connection with Source,
With the divine energy that flows through all things.
Allow it to fill up your space and feel this energy aligning you with your highest self.
Allow it to fill you with a sense of peace,
Love,
And purpose.
And now we will repeat the following affirmations,
Either silently or aloud.
I am so grateful and happy for the abundance in my life.
I am whole,
Complete,
And fully at peace.
I am aligned with clarity and purpose.
I am open to the limitless possibilities of today.
Allow these words to resonate within you,
Anchoring you in a state of high vibration and readiness for the day ahead.
And just sit in that stillness,
Embracing the peace that surrounds you.
In this silence,
You can feel your connection to the universe,
To all that is,
Knowing that in this moment,
You are whole,
You are enough,
And you are at peace.
And as you sit in this quietude,
Release any and all judgments about yourself or your experience.
Allow yourself to experience full self-acceptance with compassion and self-love.
You are doing your best,
And that is enough.
Embrace yourself just as you are,
Fully and completely.
Release all criticism and expectation.
And as you take these final few moments,
Sitting in stillness,
Just absorb this energy of gratitude and clarity that you've cultivated.
Take another deep,
Slow breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.
And when you're ready,
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes,
Bringing awareness back to your physical body.
And slowly open your eyes,
Carrying this feeling of peace and positivity with you into the brand new day.
