Begin this guided meditation with a relaxing body sequence, using slow breathing to settle the nervous system and create a feeling of flow. From there, you’ll be guided through very light hands-on skin touch experience or simple visualization, inviting a sense of lymphatic flow clearing for lymph edema or just general well-being. Throughout the meditation, you’re supported by imagery of a flowing steam and supportive guides. Open lymphatic pathways and encourage flow with care and protection. You’ll also be guided into grounding connections to encourage an open flow pathway. Disclaimer: This recording is for relaxation and self-care only and is not medical advice. Lymphatic Flow,

Meditation for the Legs.

This recording is for relaxation and self-care only.

If you have an active infection,

Blood clot,

Uncontrolled heart condition,

Recent surgery,

Open wounds,

Or are unsure if lymphatic flow is appropriate for you,

Please consult your health care provider first.

Stop immediately if you feel pain,

Dizziness,

Shortness of breath,

Or sudden swelling.

Let's begin.

Sit or lie comfortable.

You may place pillows under your knees or calves.

Allow your legs to rest heavy,

Wide,

And at ease.

Clear your mental space.

Soften the room.

This time is for your body.

In this meditation,

You'll be using your hands on your body.

You may do one leg or both legs,

Or just visualize a pair of hands.

Keeping your touch very light.

Only the skin moves,

Like brushing the surface of a water,

Or smoothing a soft blanket.

First we will begin with breathing.

Then open your upper pathways.

Then gently guide the flow through the legs.

Alright,

Settle into your position.

Close your eyes if that feels safe.

Relax your shoulders.

Soften your jaw.

Soften your fingers and hands.

Soften your toes.

Allow your hips to fall.

Begin to notice your breath.

First,

I will show you how to breathe.

Then we will take some breaths together.

Inhale slowly through the nose and let the belly rise.

Like a gentle tide coming in.

Exhale slowly through the mouth.

Let the tide fall away.

Place your hands on your stomach as you breathe in.

Feel your stomach rise like a balloon filling with pure white light when you inhale.

As you breathe out,

Imagine heavyness leaving your body and flowing downward through the hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

Calves,

And feet.

With each breath,

Expand your roots growing from your legs and feet,

Sinking deep into Mother Earth.

She welcomes you.

She studies you.

Her greatness supports your weight without effort.

And let her take what your legs no longer need,

Drawing it down into her soil,

Where it is softened and transformed.

At the same time,

Imagine a beam of white light rising from the crown of your head into the vastness of the infinite universe.

With each inhale,

The light connects you upward.

With each exhale,

It expands endlessly outward.

You are the bridge,

Grounded below,

Connected above,

Glowing with light throughout.

Feel the surface beneath you.

Feel how it holds your weight.

Let your body sink downward,

As if the Earth itself is welcoming.

You are anchored below.

You are open above.

Your body is a calm channel.

Let's begin the breathing sequence.

Together,

We'll move through five breaths.

Remember to imagine your belly is like a balloon,

Filling with each breath.

Breath one.

Inhale through the nose and expand the belly.

Exhale through the mouth.

Breath two.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Breath three.

Inhale,

Fill the belly,

And exhale.

Breath four.

Inhale,

And exhale.

Last breath.

Inhale,

And exhale.

Let the breath settle like water,

Finding its own level.

If thoughts drift in and out,

That's okay.

Notice them.

Let them float past like leaves on a slow river.

Watch them go down the river,

Around the corner,

And disappear out of sight.

And bring your attention back to your body.

Next is the lymphatic flow sequence.

This is the part where you can place your hands on your skin,

Or you can imagine hands on skin.

You can do one side of the body,

Or both sides of the body at the same time.

Let's begin with the collarbone clearing.

Bring your fingertips just above your collarbones.

With the lightest,

Softest touch,

Make slow circles.

Stretch the skin.

Go round,

And round,

And round.

Either direction is fine.

Keep moving your fingers around while I set some intentions for us.

Picture these circles as doorways opening.

Inviting lymphatic flow.

See your guardians here.

Gently guiding water.

Showing the water where to travel.

The water always travels toward the heart.

The white light surrounding your guardians shines like pathways across your chest.

Opening the way for the stream to flow with ease.

Now,

Gently lower your hands to your stomach,

If you'd like.

Let's take another deep belly breath.

Inhale,

And exhale.

And then lower your hand into the groin crease,

Where your leg meets your trunk.

The part where your leg bends at the hip.

This is a natural meeting point.

A quiet shoreline.

Using a flat hand,

With your pressure light,

Gently stretch the skin upward and inward toward your belly button.

Toward the lower abdomen.

Stretch,

And release.

Go back to the crease with your hand.

Stretch up,

And release.

Go back,

Stretch upward,

And inward,

And release.

Move your hand back,

Stretch upward,

And inward,

And release.

Keep going.

Creating a wide open space.

Inviting the water home.

Calm.

Doorways open for flow.

Imagine your guardians here,

Quietly guiding the water.

Showing the water where to move.

The white light spreads like a soft pathway through your pelvis,

Creating space for your legs to drain freely.

Let's continue to stretch the skin on the upper part of the hip.

Move your hand down slightly.

With a flat hand,

Stretch the skin inward and upward toward your trunk.

Follow this sequence.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Move your hand back.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

And let your breath guide your rhythm.

Now move to the outer thigh.

With the same gentle touch and flat hand,

Guide the skin upward toward the groin.

Always upward,

Always inward.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

On the outward of the thigh,

Picture a clear stream.

Unrushed,

Steady,

Following the natural path.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Each stroke is like a smooth stream moving upward toward open land.

Picture sparkling white water gliding underneath your stream.

Gliding through your thighs.

Carrying away heaviness and pressure.

Your guardians walk alongside the stream,

Protecting the path,

Ensuring everything moves safely and gently.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Continue to breathe comfortably and move your hand slightly downward to the inner part of the thigh.

Stretch up,

Pause,

Release.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Here,

Gently pump the skin with a flat hand.

Soft and rhythmic,

Like a tide nagging at the shore.

Up,

Up,

Up.

Up,

Up,

Up.

Pump the skin with your hand.

Up,

Up,

Up.

Imagine that white light pooling here,

Soothing and cushioning.

The waters pause briefly and then continue up on their journey calm,

Patient,

Unfocused.

Feel gratitude for your thighs and all they carry for you every day.

Move your hand slightly lower on the thigh.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Let's pump.

Flat hand.

Up,

Up,

Up.

Now move your hand right on the inside of your knee.

Right on the crease.

With a flat hand,

Pull the skin up.

Your touch spreads light like water flowing over smooth stones.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

Stretch,

Pause,

Release.

And together let's add in some pumps.

Up,

Up,

Up.

You're doing so well.

See the healing light traveling through your knees brightening every cell.

Each stroke clears more space allowing the stream to move steadily upward effortlessly peacefully slowly slow,

Light intentional.

I invite your hand to wander down from the knee on the inside of the calf with a flat hand Sweep,

Pause release Sweep,

Pause release Continue working your hand on the skin on this lower portion of the leg Move your hand to the outside of the calf always guiding upward always toward the body Maybe your hand finds areas of skin that feel a little stuck Gently stretch the skin back and forth over these areas If it feels comfortable move your hand down around the ankle You can use flat fingers around the ankle bones small,

Slow circles always guiding upward always toward the body You can gently place your hand on top of the foot gently pull the skin upward Sweep,

Pause release and then to the toes Imagine each toe as a tiny stream all flowing together into one gentle river With soft motion from toes toward the ankle Invite the stream to gather and release The stream can part like a fork go around bony areas and rejoin as a single stream Envision this stream with healing sparkles of light glowing through your feet warming the tissue relaxing the flow As your guardians still walk aside tracing the pathways gentle,

Encouraging flow and letting go Notice warmth beneath your hands Notice how soft the skin is Envision the skin becoming softer and a quiet movement beneath the skin Your skin responds to gentle touch Flow is always present You simply remind it where to go We will now return flow upward with soft,

Sweeping strokes Guide your hands lightly from your lower leg back behind the knees Spend some time here softening up that area with your flat hand Stretch,

Pause Release Now move your hands to the inner thigh Stretch Pause Release Gently remind the waters where to go See the stream reconnect with the glow of white light in your lower belly See your guardians continue to guide and bless the flow keeping it calm,

Clear,

And supported With each gentle inhale draw in radiant white light Send the light throughout your body through your hips,

Legs feet,

And into Mother Earth where it grounds and steadies you With each exhale send the light upward through your crown into the vastness where it may expand and shine freely Now place your hands on your lower abdomen right below the belly button Together we'll take four closing breaths You'll imagine a balloon in your belly With each breath you'll expand that balloon And with each exhale the balloon will deflate Let's begin Inhale Exhale Balloon expands Exhale Slow release Inhale Like a wave Exhale Water back to shore Inhale Last breath Inhale Exhale Breathe normally See your whole body bathed in light The streams flow freely You feel lighter clear warmer more at ease When you are ready wiggle your fingers and toes Roll your ankles slowly Open your eyes Know that you are supported Carry this feeling of light and flow with you into the rest of your day Knowing you are supported by the earth below the universe above and the flow of abundance beside you Thank you for being here
