Hi,
I'm Juliet.
Welcome to this meditation.
It's an honor to share this empowering and nurturing space with you.
You may have experienced moments of self-doubt,
Times when it felt like you had to prove your worth,
Get things just right,
Or risk being found out as not enough.
This is the quiet,
Persistent voice of imposter syndrome,
The feeling that you don't belong despite your very real achievements and strengths.
And when affirmations feel hollow or forced,
It's easy to believe that confidence is out of reach.
That's why this meditation isn't about fixing or forcing anything.
This is the gentle space for you to breathe,
To feel supported,
And to connect with tools that will help you feel more grounded,
More confident,
And more you.
Right now,
Just as you are,
You are more than enough.
Let's begin.
If you haven't already,
Find a comfortable,
Quiet place to sit.
On the floor,
In a chair,
On your bed,
Wherever feels best for you.
Let your hands rest gently in your lap.
You can close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a deep,
Steady breath in and exhale slowly,
Arriving fully in this moment.
Let's start by checking in with your body.
Bring attention to your jaw.
Is there any tension there?
Gently release it with your next exhale.
Now your forehead.
Allow it to soften.
Notice your eyes.
Bring awareness to your shoulders.
Breathe in and as you breathe out,
Let them melt down,
Soft,
Heavy,
Released.
Feel the coolness of your inhale.
Take a slow breath in through your nose,
4,
3,
2,
1,
And softly out through your mouth,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Once more,
Inhale deeply and let out a long sigh.
Let your breath settle into its own natural rhythm.
There is nothing to prove here,
Nothing to fix.
You are safe.
You are accepted,
Just as you are.
Continue to breathe softly.
Let's acknowledge any recent moments of doubt,
Feelings of not being good enough,
Not measuring up.
Let them come to mind gently,
No judgment,
Just awareness.
These thoughts don't make you broken,
They make you human.
Notice where those thoughts live in your body,
Perhaps your chest,
Your throat,
Your belly.
Place your left hand gently on that area.
Let your right hand rest on your heart,
The center of your compassion.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,
Imagine sending love from your heart to that place of tension.
Two more times,
Inhale love,
Exhale support.
Once more.
Now consider,
How often is it easier for others to see your strengths,
Your kindness,
Your talents?
With your next breath,
Softly say to yourself,
I am better than I think I am.
Let that settle.
Neutral affirmations are statements that acknowledge reality without assigning value,
Either positive or negative.
They help shift focus from self-criticism or striving for perfection to a more balanced,
Objective perspective.
Let's explore six neutral affirmations that are grounded,
Honest,
And supportive truths.
You may choose one that speaks to you.
1.
I am human,
Mistakes show me what doesn't work so I can learn and grow.
2.
My experience and education are why I was chosen.
3.
It's okay to feel unsure,
I hold space for these feelings with kindness.
4.
I am putting in effort and I want to do well.
5.
I appreciate my body's ability to heal and support me.
6.
I am a work in progress and that's okay.
Let your breath stay soft and steady.
Take a deep breath in and exhale with a gentle sigh.
Now choose one affirmation or create one of your own.
Let it be simple.
Let it be true to you.
Breathe in deeply and as you exhale,
Say your affirmation softly,
Either aloud or in your mind.
Again,
Inhale and exhale your truth.
One more time.
Being human means learning and every mistake is a stepping stone to something new.
Place both hands over your heart.
Breathe in love and exhale it throughout your body.
Now repeat gently to yourself.
I give myself grace with mistakes and understand that they help me grow.
Now bring to mind one small moment when you felt proud,
Helpful,
Kind,
Or simply yourself.
Let it rise like a soft light in your memory.
That version of you,
That strength and kindness,
Is still here.
It's always here.
Breathe into that truth.
Take a final deep breath in and gently let it go.
Bring awareness to the ground that's supporting you,
Holding you.
Begin to bring awareness back into your body by wiggling your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Thank you for being here with me and more importantly with yourself.
If it feels helpful,
Take a moment to journal your thoughts.
Let your affirmation carry you through the day as a quiet companion.
And feel free to come back to this meditation whenever you need a deeper support.
You are enough.
You are worthy.
May you be well.
