Good morning.

This is a beautiful opportunity to take time for you,

To take a few deep breaths,

In through the nose,

Out through the mouth,

Sighing if it feels right,

A good sigh helps activate our parasympathetic nervous system.

This is the state where we rest and digest,

Relax,

And a lot of us live in a state of stress so this is a beautiful time for you and your body to recalibrate.

Take a few deep breaths here,

In through the nose,

Long exhales out through your mouth.

Just taking a few minutes to breathe.

This is a perfect way to start your morning,

Start your day,

Taking this time for you.

We give so much of ourselves to others and to take this time is a gift and it's one you deserve.

So keep breathing,

In through the nose,

And out through the mouth.

Or if it feels good,

Exhale through the nose.

This is for you and what feels good.

Every time you take a deep breath,

You're giving your body a hug,

An internal hug that says I love you,

You are worthy of wellness.

So keep breathing,

Give your toes a wiggle,

Your fingers a wiggle.

Can you feel the space between your toes,

Between your fingers?

Can you feel the pulse in the tips of your fingers?

Just do a scan,

Starting at your feet,

Bringing your awareness all the way up your body,

Through your heels,

Your calves,

Your knees,

Your quads,

Your bum,

Your back.

Feel your shoulders,

Maybe give your shoulders a little wiggle,

They carry a lot.

Feel down into your arms,

Your elbows,

Your forearms,

Your hands.

Feel up your neck.

Maybe give your head a little shake,

Up and down,

Side to side.

Relax your tongue,

Let it just rest gently wherever it feels best.

Relax your cheeks,

Your jaw,

Your eyes,

Your forehead.

Can you feel where your hair comes out of your scalp?

When you bring that awareness there,

Can you feel the tingles?

Keep breathing.

This is your time to set an intention for the day,

Your sankalpa,

What do you want to get out of today?

What does your body want to get out of today?

Your soul,

Your heart?

How can you show up in the world that best serves others and yourself,

Without compromising any of your values or your beliefs?

Can you ask yourself,

What can I give up today?

What can I let go of that no longer serves me?

What can you call in?

Who do you want to be today?

What attitude do you want?

What breathing pattern do you want?

Do you want full body yeses with full body breaths?

Or do you want to be shallow breathing,

Hyperventilating,

In a state of stress and anxiety?

We get to choose.

That's one of the best things about our respiratory system.

It's both unconscious and conscious.

Throughout the day,

Just stop.

Check in with your breath.

What is it telling you?

Can you take some breath into the belly?

Can you go a little deeper?

Bring that breath into your ribs.

Feel that side body expand.

Bring your breath into the chest,

Expanding your chest.

And then exhaling nice and slow.

Bringing our body into a state of rest,

Where you're less reactive,

Less triggered,

More peaceful.

Keep breathing.

A few more here.

Repeat after me in your head,

Or aloud.

Today is going to be a good day.

Today is a day for me to be my best self.

Today,

Good things will happen to me and for me.

Today,

Good things will happen for those around me and those I love.

Today,

I choose me.

Put a smile on your face.

You just took this time for yourself.

You just gave yourself a big internal hug.

You just gave yourself time to connect with your body,

Your mind,

Your soul,

Your heart.

And this is the number one relationship you'll have in your life.

We have to honor it.

We have to show up for it.

And our breath is the best way to do that.

So smile,

Take a big breath.

Take a few more if that feels right for you.

And remember,

When we show up for ourselves,

It makes us more apt to show up for others in beautiful,

Loving ways.

Have a beautiful day.

Namaste.
