Hello and welcome to this very short breathing reset.

So maybe you only have a couple of minutes.

Now in this reset we're going to take 10 breaths.

So wherever you are,

Allowing yourself to settle as best as you can.

Maybe you can lie yourself down,

Maybe you're seated,

Maybe you're standing.

Any support that you can give your body will be helpful.

If it's safe to do so,

You may wish to close your eyes,

Allow your body to settle and to start to count those 10 breaths.

So starting with 10,

We breathe in and out at your own pace.

And then we move on to 9,

10 and out.

Counting down as you breathe in and out.

We're not trying to control the breath here,

We're just counting.

You may find that your first few breaths are faster,

Maybe less comfortable.

And as you continue,

The breath starts to slow and soften just a little.

Taking your time,

We're not rushing,

We're not forcing.

We're taking 10 breaths.

This little reset,

This little pause in your day.

Every little thing that we can do is going to help.

And when you've done your 10 breaths,

Allowing yourself a moment in that stillness if you can.

Taking as long over your 10 breaths as you need.

And then when you're finished,

You can continue about your day and come back to this breath reset any time that you need to.

Celebrate yourself for having taken these couple of minutes to yourself.

Thank you for coming to breathe with me.

Remember to return to this any time that you need to.
