Welcome,

Dear one.

As you settle into your bed,

Let your body find a position of comfort and ease.

Feel the gentle support beneath you,

Holding you safely.

Allow your hands to rest softly.

Your eyes to close,

And your breath to begin its quiet,

Natural rhythm.

Let's begin by inviting in a sense of calm.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in through your nose,

Filling your lungs with cool,

Soothing air.

Hold it for a moment.

Now exhale gently through your mouth,

Letting go of the day's tension.

Breathe in deeply,

Feeling your chest and belly expand.

And breathe out,

Releasing any worries or thoughts that may still be swirling in your mind.

With each breath,

Imagine yourself drawing in peace and exhaling anything you no longer need.

Let your breath become slower,

Softer,

Like a gentle tide washing over the shore.

Now,

In your mind's eye,

Imagine that your room is slowly transforming.

The walls dissolve,

And you find yourself lying in a beautiful moonlit garden.

The air is cool and fresh,

Touched with the scent of wildflowers and earth.

Above you,

The sky is a deep velvet blue,

Scattered with stars that twinkle softly,

Like tiny lanterns in the night.

You are safe here.

This is your night garden,

A place of rest and renewal,

Created just for you.

Feel the soft grass beneath you,

Cool and comforting.

Notice the gentle breeze,

Carrying the quiet songs of crickets,

And the distant call of an owl.

With each breath,

You sink a little deeper into this peaceful earth,

Letting your body grow heavy and relaxed.

Imagine now that you are surrounded by tall,

Graceful trees.

Their leaves shimmer in the moonlight,

Whispering lullabies as the wind moves through their branches.

You can hear the soft rustle,

A soothing sound that calms your mind and invites your thoughts to slow down.

As you listen,

Notice a gentle stream flowing nearby.

The water glides over smooth stones,

Its melody soft and steady.

With every gentle ripple,

You feel tension melting away from your body,

Your feet,

Your legs,

Your hips,

Your back.

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your neck,

Your face.

Let the stream carry away any tightness or heaviness,

Leaving you lighter and more at ease.

Now,

Imagine a path of smooth stones winding through the garden.

You rise effortlessly and begin to walk along this path,

Your bare feet touching the cool earth.

With each step,

You feel more peaceful,

More relaxed.

The path leads you past beds of fragrant lavender and night-blooming jasmine,

Their scents wrapping around you like a soft blanket.

You come upon a small wooden bridge,

Arching over the stream.

Pause here for a moment,

Listening to the gentle trickle of water below.

Lean on the railing and look up at the sky.

The moon is full and luminous,

Casting a silver glow over everything.

Let its light bathe you,

Filling you with a sense of calm and quiet wonder.

As you continue along the path,

You notice a cozy bench nestled beneath a flowering tree.

You sit down,

Feeling the cool wood beneath you and gaze out over the garden.

Fireflies drift lazily through the air,

Their tiny lights flickering in a slow,

Peaceful dance.

Take a few moments to simply be here.

Breathe in the night air.

Listen to the sounds of the garden.

Feel the gentle pulse of the earth beneath you,

Steady and reassuring.

If any thoughts or worries arise,

Imagine placing them in a soft,

Floating lantern.

Watch as the lantern drifts up into the night sky,

Carried away by a gentle breeze.

There is nothing you need to do now.

No problems to solve,

No tasks to finish.

Just rest.

Now bring your attention back to your breath.

Notice how slow and easy it has become.

With each inhale,

Feel your body growing heavier,

More relaxed.

With each exhale,

Imagine yourself sinking deeper into the earth,

Cradled by the garden's gentle embrace.

Let your mind wander,

If it wishes,

Through this peaceful place.

Perhaps you hear the distant hoot of an owl.

The soft rustle of wings.

The quiet hum of nighttime life.

Let these sounds lull you,

Like a lullaby sung by the night itself.

If you wish,

Imagine a gentle presence beside you.

A wise,

Loving guide,

Perhaps in the form of an animal or a gentle spirit.

They sit with you in silence,

Offering comfort and protection as you drift towards sleep.

Feel their warmth,

Their steady presence,

And know that you are safe.

As your body grows heavier,

Your breath softer,

Let yourself float on the edge of sleep.

The garden will remain with you,

Holding you in its quiet beauty.

You are free to return here whenever you wish,

To rest,

To dream,

To heal.

Now let go of the story.

Let go of the garden,

And simply rest in the soft darkness behind your eyes.

Let sleep come naturally,

Gently,

Like petals falling onto soft grass.

You are safe.

You are loved.

You are home.

Good night.
