This practice supports the body in releasing physically,
Emotionally,
And energetically what is ready to let go of.
You may be seated,
Reclining,
Or lying down comfortably.
Choose a position where the belly and pelvis feel unguarded and supported.
Allow your eyes to close or soften your gaze.
Let your attention gently turn inward.
Take a moment to notice your body as it is right now.
Notice where there is ease.
Notice where there is holding.
There is nothing to change,
Only to acknowledge.
Bring one hand to the lower belly.
Let the other rest wherever it feels most supportive.
Feel the warmth of your hand meeting your body.
This contact is a signal of presence and safety.
Begin to breathe slowly through the nose.
On the inhale,
Allow the breath to move down into the belly.
On the exhale,
Let the belly soften without effort.
Again,
Inhale,
Receiving your breath.
Exhale,
Allowing release.
Let your breath become steady and unforced.
Now bring awareness to your lower abdomen,
Pelvis,
And belly.
The place where the body often holds on long after it needs to let go.
This holding is not a mistake.
It once served a purpose.
Today,
You are simply checking in to see what is ready to be released.
With each exhale,
Imagine the body gently loosening its grip like a hand slowly opening.
No pulling,
No pushing,
Just permission.
If emotions arise,
Allow them space.
If nothing arises,
That is also perfect.
Release does not need drama to be real.
Imagine now that anything the body no longer needs,
Tension,
Pressure,
Residue,
Old effort,
Is being gently guided downward and out of the body,
Like leaves carried by the water,
Like breath leaving the lungs.
You must silently repeat this phrase on the exhale,
I trust my body to release.
Inhale.
And as you exhale,
Repeat,
I trust my body to release.
Again,
Inhale,
Creating space.
Exhale,
I trust my body to release.
Notice how the body responds to trust.
Notice any softening in the belly,
Jaw,
Or breath.
Allow the shoulders to relax.
Allow your face to be neutral and at ease.
These signals tell the nervous system that it no longer needs to hold on.
Stay with the rhythm of your breath for a few moments,
Each exhale offering another opportunity to let go.
Nothing leaves before it's ready.
Nothing stays longer than it needs to.
Your body is beyond wise.
Take one final inhale into your belly.
Pause gently at the top of your breath.
Then exhale fully,
Soft,
Complete,
Unforced.
When you are ready,
Bring awareness back to the room around you.
Gently open your eyes or lift your gaze.
Carry this sense of permission with you.
Letting go is not an action.
It is a state the body enters when it feels safe.
You can return to this practice whenever release is needed.
Stay magical and namaste.
