Welcome to this relaxation.

Get yourself comfortable.

You are now ready for a good restful night's sleep.

You can let go.

You can easily fall asleep and wake up feeling fully refreshed when you wake in the morning.

You can focus on your deepening ability to let go and just breathe.

It will be very beneficial if you allow yourself to become deeply relaxed,

As relaxed as possible.

All you need to do is to focus on the sound of my voice as I take you on a journey of relaxation.

You will begin to absorb the words,

The sounds and the feelings that are useful to you.

You can listen or not listen.

You can do nothing and everything and neither or both.

And because you already know how to deeply relax,

You can just focus on the sound of my voice.

Naturally,

Your body will start relaxing as we begin a body scan now.

Starting at the top of your head,

Imagining opening up and allowing a warm wave to flow over and through your body.

Notice its colours and the gentle changes of tone as it moves through your body to allow you to relax deeper and deeper.

This warm wave of relaxation is now reaching your forehead,

Relaxing,

Smoothing out the lines on your forehead,

Closing gently your eyelids and even relaxing the muscles behind your eyes.

Slowly moving down to your cheeks,

Flowing to the shoulder and as you let go further and further.

Even your tongue inside your mouth is gently resting.

Your eyes are softly closed.

You are very comfortable.

The wave gently flowing down to the back of your neck,

Softening the ligaments,

Muscles,

Letting go of any tension in your shoulders and as you do,

Your shoulders are becoming heavier and lighter.

In your chest,

Breathing comfortably,

Effortlessly,

The warm relaxing wave moves on floating down the arms,

Your left arm and your right arm,

All the way down past your elbows,

Your wrists,

Your hands,

Your fingers,

Softening,

Releasing,

Letting go.

Slowly now moving on your back,

The warm relaxing wave is flowing down,

Releasing every cell,

Every ligament,

Every muscle to let go.

And the wave moves towards the front,

Surrounding your belly,

Moving throughout,

Relaxing all around your belly,

Allowing you to breathe effortlessly and it continues its journey down through your pelvis,

The warm wave moving down the top of your thighs,

Your knees,

Your ankles,

All the way down to your legs,

Releasing,

Relaxing.

Notice the heaviness of your body now,

As you relax further and further.

Finally wrapping up your feet,

Your toes,

The wave is helping you to release each little toe,

Checking them out one by one.

Your whole body is now fully,

Deeply relaxed and you feel yourself becoming heavier,

So relaxed as you are falling deeply asleep.

Quiet mind,

Peaceful tranquility as you are falling deeply asleep.

Quiet mind,

Peaceful tranquility.
