The profound state of rest, so needed in today’s faster and faster world-pace, nourishes the body; bringing it into homeostatic balance: slowing down the heart rate, activating digestion, stimulate the vagus nerve and so much more. Themed around self-acceptance, this yoga nidra invites you to ground yourself in your essence as you pause the thinking and doing. My intention is to help you integrate this inner strength, feel your center, powerful and trusting.. tap into the wisdom of your body as it finds that deep rest. So many answers are already within us, open end with music only gives you the space for it.
Releasing the need for approval, gently guide yourself into alignment with your worth untethered to people, places or things. This guided 15 minute Yoga Nidra meditation is designed to relieve any tension, stress and anxiety and bring you to a soothed calm state. It’s a short, non sleep deep rest practice with relaxing music to create deep relese and enable healing

Hello friend,

Welcome to this 15 minute yoga nidra for deep rest.

This is your time to softly unfurl any clenched up regions of your body or mind,

A chance to get in tune with yourself.

So if you haven't already get completely comfortable lying on your back,

Use any props you need,

A blanket,

Something to cover your eyes,

Then begin by noticing the rise and fall of your chest as your body breathes itself naturally for this short moment,

Witnessing your breath like a wave rolling onto a shore,

Now deepen your breath in and then slowly exhale through your mouth,

Deeply inhale and then hold that breath 5,

4,

3,

2,

Exhale 5,

4,

3,

2 and then start softening through your bridge of the nose,

Left side of the chest,

Left calf muscle,

Palm of the hand and sense all of your fingers of the right hand and sense your left shoulder,

Your entire body by self-rejection.

If you're about to fall asleep,

Good night and if you're practicing during the day,

Start inviting movement into your body,

Moving your toes,

Invigorating deep breath and then slowly rolling over to your right side,

Forgiving your body that much needed rest.
