1 intentional breath. 1 minute meditation. They all count! Enjoy 1 minute to listen inwardly before the red notifications on your device grab your attention. This meditation is a great practice to add to your daily morning routine. You can do it while still lying in bed or while sipping a warm beverage. In addition, taking our arms across the midline of our body helps wake up the brain.

Good morning.

Thank you for using one minute to listen inwardly before giving attention to anything outside.

Breathe.

Enjoy a deep inhale.

On your next inhale,

Reach your arms out to a T and then take your arms across your body giving yourself a hug.

And while hugging yourself say,

I love you and I am listening.

Inhale your arms back out to a T and this time cross the other arm on top for a second self hug.

I love you and I am listening.

Good morning.

May you infuse your day with love,

Laughter,

And listening.

My takeaway: An exercise to practice daily for future payoff with improved coping in times of stress. Hug and comfort oneself. (Matches Mary Becks IT Anxiety challenge to comfort the scared animal). Would be improved by better audio quality. :) KEY: 5*Insightful 4*Interesting 3*Okay 2*Not For Me 1*Irritating
